A/N: Hey guys it's me again. After seeing things about cancer I decided to make a story about cancer and about the battle for living. It'll be a life-or-death situation depending on how I feel. Blaine will have cancer but I don't know what it should be so I'll reveal it in the next chapter if I find a good one for him to have. While he takes the Chemo though, he won't have hair loss cause I can't bear to have him lose those gorgeous curls! Anyway, when I decide whether to have him live or die I will change the genre depending on my decision. But for now, onto the story!

Chapter 1

The morning sun drifted through the window of Blaine and Kurt Anderson-Hummel's room as a young, dark curly-haired man lay sleeping under the covers. He opened one eye and yawned, opening his other eye and sat up, rubbing his eyes and stretching then he shuffled to the bathroom and looked at himself in the mirror. Blaine hadn't been himself for the past two months but that was because he had cancer. When he found out, he broke down in tears and sobbed so hard.

"I don't want to die!" He had wailed, his mother holding him and rubbing his back while Kurt watched silently, remembering when his father had the cancer scare.

"You won't die, Blainey so please calm down, OK?" His mother, Pam had cooed.

James, on the other hand just watched with an emotionless look on his face while Kurt snuck off to call Cooper. When the older man had picked up he had said, "Hello?"

"Coop? It's Kurt," Kurt said.

Cooper had started feeling worried when Kurt had called, since it was rare to hear from his brother-in-law unless it was an emergency or something was wrong so he frowned and said, "What's wrong, Kurt?"

Kurt fought to keep from crying as he said, "What is the earliest flight from LA that you can catch to get to Lima?"

Coop's heart stopped when he heard that question so he replied, "Um, the next flight is in a couple of hours but if it's an emergency I can get an earlier flight. What's up?"

Kurt wiped his eyes and sniffed, "Blaine...has cancer. He needs his big brother here with him cause he's so scared."

Coop was rushing around and packing then he said, "I'll be there as soon as I can, ok? Just keep him calm and talk to him. Did they say what type it was or how serious it was? Please tell me it was found early!"

Kurt had tried to talk while Coop freaked out then he yelled, "COOPER CALM DOWN!" Coop fell silent as he stopped running around and Kurt said, "They don't know the details, they just did blood work and found out. The tests are going to be either later today or tomorrow then they will be starting Chemo the week after."

When Coop entered the hospital, he looked around and waved over a nurse so she went to him and asked, "Yes? May I help you?"

"I'm looking for Blaine Anderson's room. I'm his brother Cooper Anderson."

"Room 203."

"Thanks."

Cooper went to Blaine's room and walked in as he said, "Hey, Squirt how are you feeling?"

Blaine looked up and his face was red and puffy from crying then his voice broke as he said, "I'm scared, Coop."

Coop went to his bedside and pushed his hair out of the way and said, "I'm here, kiddo. And I'm staying until you get better. I promise."

Blaine smiled and then frowned, "But what about school?"

Coop said, "I'll drive you to school so you can get your stuff and explain to your friends what's going on."

Blaine nodded and got out of bed, swaying a bit then he got dressed and when he was done, he said, "Ok, let's go."

A few minutes later, Blaine and Coop were walking to the choir room and Blaine opened the door then the two walked in and Blaine went right to Mr. Schue and whispered, "Mr. Schue, can I make an announcement?"

"Sure, Blaine you have the floor." Mr. Schue said as he moved aside. Blaine looked at his friends as his eyes teared up then he choked out, "I-I have cancer."

Everyone was quiet but there were no dry eyes in the room as everyone rushed to Blaine and hugged him then Rachel said, "What type of cancer is it? And how serious is it?"

Blaine hugged everyone back and replied, "I don't know yet. The tests are in a few days and I start Chemo in two weeks."
