Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter, or Hermione, Harry, or Ron (he's my least favourite, so I'm kinda glad...) or Hagrid or anything else of any concern.
This isn't romance, it's a kind of pointless thing from Prisoner of Azkabsm that I wrote while listening to Long Live by Taylor Swift (she's my favourite singer definitely, Red is AMAZING), which you can probably see since this is like one if those trio-y things. So yeah.
Hermione Granger ran across the sunny grounds to Hagrid's Hut, her bushy brown hair flying behind her in the gentle breeze.
"Harry! Ron!" she shouted as she approached the hut. "Wait for me!"
The exams had ended. The warm June sun had brought almost everyone outside, and even Percy was sitting on the grass, though he was reading some boring book about life after your N.E. . Harry, Ron, and Hermione had made plans to visit Hagrid right after breakfast, since they had several days of no school before the end of term. Still, Hermione had been late because of her insistence to finish her Muggle Studies book for the second time, so as to "fully understand" it's content. So, because of this, it was close to lunchtime now.
"Can we tell Hagrid about Sirius?" Ron asked as they made their way to the back, where they expected to find Hagrid. "He knows about Buckbeak, just not the right way.
Hermione glanced at Harry, but he appeared definite. "No," she said. "We can't tell anybody. Sirius is in huge danger already, and we all know Hagrid isn't the best-well-secret keeper."
Ron shrugged. "It's just a bit weird to keep it from him."
Hermione half-smiled, even though it wasn't really a happy thing to talk about. "Let's not think about it like that. Let's just forget about it when we're around him." She glanced at Harry, then said encouragingly, "Lets just tell him his happy we are about Buckbeak. That's true."
Harry grinned. "Yeah. I am happy about Buckbeak. I can't believe he was supposed to be killed. I wish we could tell Hagrid the truth, though."
They had been walking slowly, but they finally reached the back garden. Hermione unmatched the gate, then linked arms with Harry and Ron. "Come on," she said, now fully smiling. "We can do this. We were out at a full moon with a werewolf. We were alone in a room with somebody we thought was going to kill us. We can do this, okay?"
Harry and Ron glanced at each other, then smiled. "Okay," they both said. "We can do this."
And Hermione grabbed both their hands and pulled them into the back garden. "Hagrid?" she called. "It's us. Have you got any news about Buckbeak?"
Did you like it? I hope so! Please review!
This is probably my first completely all-friendship story, and it's my sixty-ninth story! If you listen to Long Live, you can probably see why I was writing and I wanted it up be like them since Long Live HP! I know it's not gone but listening to that song and thinking about HP is an easy way to make yourself sad anyway...
Linley =)
