Plot: Pit decides that the people of Smash Manor deserve more love in their lives, and what better way to do this? Pair everyone up with a special someone! Pit goes around and sees if he can find the best matches, then sets them up for dates. But what happens when he tries to find someone for Link, but the Hylian already has his eyes set on Pit himself?

It wasn't like he enjoyed meddling in others' lives; it was just sort of… a hobby! If you will. And who doesn't want love in their lives? It was what makes the world go around as they say! So with this thought in mind, Pit had no other reason but to go about the manor and attempt to find matches for as many people as he could.

Although, Marth and Ike didn't seem to be too into this plan. And that's where it started really; Pit sat across from the two swordsmen, and told them of his excellent plan. But judging by their confused and shocked facial features, he was guessing they didn't think it was such a hot idea to begin with. Marth was the first to speak, shaking his head to get out of his shocked state before letting out a sigh.

"Pit, do you really expect people to be okay with you setting them up with other people? It could cause a lot of problems" The blunette inquired, taking a hold of his mug and sipping the coffee that was inside; next to him, Ike merely nodded in agreement. Pit rolled his eyes in return, hunching over so his weight was focused on his elbows placed on the table.

"But that's just it Marth, I rarely ever see couples around here as it is, and we spend so much time with one another. So it's not like I am pairing anyone up with strangers, and I will be extra careful when finding a match too. I wouldn't set a bad couple up, I swear on my Goddess Palutena." Marth still looked leery of this, but he took the Angel's words into context, for he agreed there were very few couples among the tournament, especially now that they were all brought back for the new tournament, with all new people; though they had had enough time to get to know them of course.

Suddenly Ike, after what seemed like forever, spoke up next. "Where is your Goddess anyway?" He asked, taking a bite of a piece of his pancake on the end of his fork.

"She's out with Viridi, going shopping or something." Pit waved his hand, swatting away the motion that his Goddess wasn't there with him.

"I bet she wouldn't approve of this" Marth mumbled, taking another sip of his coffee again. "Are you going to set her up with anyone?" He asked after swallowing the liquid, placing the cup back down onto the table. Pit merely shook his head though, almost fast enough to make his Floral Crown fall off.

"Of course not, that defies my duties as guardian of her, plus…" He paused, smiling bashfully. "She would get really pissed off at me" This said made the two blunettes sigh in defeat at their friend's ways.

"Fine…" Marth started "But if you get hurt in the process, or get yelled at for meddling in people's love lives, don't come crying to me" Pit growled, sticking his tongue out at the prince before getting up from his seat.

"You'll see, the next thing you know, there will be couples all over this mansion. And you know who would be responsible for it? Me!" The Angel stated, pointing at himself for emphasis. He turned around to leave, but suddenly smirked, turning back around to the two. "And maybe my first act as cupid will be to set you two up together, you are always at each other's hips every day. It's no wonder people think you're a couple to begin with" And with that said, Pit ran out of the cafeteria, leaving the two blunette's sitting there in awkward silence, a bright red hues flushed across both their cheeks.

So as Pit promised, he did indeed start pairing numerous people in the mansion with each other. Or at least attempted to, at one point he considered Marth's option of giving up, only for the fact that people did indeed get offended, pissed or rude to him at one point or another. But Cupid's work is never done! He did successfully pair a few smashers together though, amongst them being Luigi and Daisy, Luigi being too scared to confess at first, Shulk with Lucina and Samus with Captain Falcon, oddly enough for him. It was rather hard to pair some people together though, and he hadn't realized how many Pokemon and children were in this year's tournament, so he was left with a select few.

But Pit wasn't a quitter, three in one day was a good start, but he figured he would make it four and call it quits before Palutena came back and possibly scolded him. He opted for walking down the halls, passing by people as he went to see if he could simply find a good match between others. So far, no luck, aside from seeing a few couples that were already together, such as Mario and Peach and even Jigglypuff and Pikachu… again, odd, but it worked out.

It wasn't until he passed by two certain Hylians that he got his mojo back! Upon seeing Zelda and Link approach him, he got a wide smile and decided to stop them in their tracks, standing in front of them to block them from going any further. The two stopped their conversation, staring at the Angel in question and shock.

"Uh… Is there something you need Pit?" Zelda asked, Link seeming to shrink in his shell and slightly hide behind Zelda, a small blush to his cheeks. This brought a smile to the guardians lips even more, nodding his head.

"Yes! I wanted to know something about you two" He stated, placing his hands on his hips, confident in his decision making. Both pointed eared Hylians raised an eyebrow, thinking maybe this was a question about their heritage.

"Oh, uh, sure Pit. What did you want to know?" The Princess asked; again, the green clad knight remaining to stay silent.

"I wanted to know if you two were going out?!" With his statement, this brought both their eyes to the size of dinner plates, starring from one another, back to the Angel in utter shock and confusion. Zelda chose to speak again in behalf of both of them, an awkward smile to her lips.

"N-No Pit, we aren't, but-"She was suddenly cut off as Pit circled around them, taking ahold of her hand and Link's hand in his own, this notion caused Link to jump out of his skin, but Pit didn't seem to notice as he linked the two Hylian's hands together.

"Well I think you two should be! You're perfect for each other! Don't you think?" He asked, his smile beaming with happy emotions. Sadly though, his smile was wiped away as not one, but both Link and Zelda pulled apart from one another.

"Pit, no, allow me to finish." Zelda said calmly, attempting not to punch the Angel in the face. As she commanded, Pit stayed silent, keeping a questioning look on them. "No, we are not together-but that is only because we are like siblings to one another. Do you understand?" Pit sighed lightly, nodding his head. "Good, besides, I am not looking for anyone. And Link is gay to begin with, so it wouldn't have-"She yet again was cut off, feeling her shy friend next to her tug on the side of her dress a little. Turning slightly to look at him, she saw his face resembled a dark shade of red, and his eyes casted down to the floor, refusing to look up at either of them.

This confused Pit, but also very much intrigued him. Link was gay? So that meant there was still a chance to set him up with someone else! Specifically of the same gender this time. He saw Zelda give an apologetic look to him, turning back to Pit with an awkward smile.

"A-Anyway, sorry Pit, we have to leave now. Bye!" She quickly stated, turning around with Link next to her as they headed down the hall. Pit could vaguely hear her whisper an apology to her friend, but that was as far as he got before they rounded the corner, leaving him in the hallway alone. And that was what he needed, for his wide smile that he had on before had returned, this time he was determined to set Link up with someone.

About an hour had passed by since Pit encountered the Princess and her royal guard in the hall, and honestly, he was feeling very anxious at this point. He tried very hard to try and find someone that would be a good match for the pointed hat elf, but so far, he was having no luck. Sitting in the cafeteria wasn't helping any, especially since all the good matches were taken or straight. A sigh left his lips, he was getting nowhere.

Marth and Ike suddenly walked up and sat across from him, bringing him from his thoughts. But to his surprise, he found the two were smiling rather widely, and what was even more surprising was their hands were intertwined with each other. This meant one thing to Pit, and that thought brought a large smile to his lips.

"Don't tell me you guys-"Pit started, but was cut off by an over excited Marth nodding his head.

"Yup! After you had pointed out that we were always spending time with each other, we realized that we did actually like each other" The Prince explained, nudging his partner with his shoulder, causing the taller of the three to chuckle.

"Mmhmm, and it's all thanks to you meddling in our business" Ike inquired rather calmly, even though just a few hours earlier he had agreed with the Prince that meddling was bad.

"That's great! Then that means I successfully matched four couples today! Maybe I won't have to pair Link with anyone after all!" The words spoken seem to have confused Marth some though, tilting his head slightly and raising an eyebrow.

"Link? You tried pairing Link with someone? Why, he is so shy and rarely speaks as it is, I wouldn't think he liked anyone really. Though he is very kind and caring, I am sure you could find a girl that would work for him" Marth pondered, tapping his chin in though, but Pit merely shook his head.

"I already tried that…" As he spoke, Pittoo arrived next to him with a can of soda in hand, deciding to make himself comfortable and sit next to his double. Pit paid no mind and continued. "I tried pairing Link with Zelda, but she explained they were like siblings to each other. Then she said Link was gay anyway. But the odd part was, he got really flustered and tugged on her dress as if he didn't want anyone to know he was. I mean, maybe he hasn't come out yet?" Pit asked, also pondering his own thoughts, Ike and Marth seemed to agree but Pittoo raised an eyebrow at them.

"Wait, none of you knew that the elf guy was gay?... He's practically got it written all over him, heh…" The dark haired angel chuckled, crossing his arms. "I even walked in on him one time trying to go over how he was going to confess to someone he had a crush on." With this said, Pit's eyes widened, almost immediately leaning in to get more details.

"He has a crush on someone? Pittoo, you have to tell me who it is so I can pair them up!" The Angel grabbed the collar of his doppelgangers toga. "Pleeeease!" He begged, childishly as ever. Pittoo in return slapped his hands away, growling under his breathe.

"Would you quit it? Why do you care anyway? He begged me not to tell anyone, saying he 'swore to Goddess Hylia' he would do anything for me if I kept the secret, so he's been doing my laundry for the past week now" He stated, smirking at his own achievement. Pit rolled his eyes.

"Fine, if you tell me who he likes, I'll do your laundry for… uh… a month!" The brunette offered, Pittoo smirked wider.

"Make it two months and you got a deal!"

"Ugh! Fine, just tell me!" Pit begged, but Marth cut in by sighing in defeat across from them.

"Pit, are you sure about this? I mean, pairing people is one thing, but this is a new low in meddling." Ike nodded to his partner's words; he seemed to agree with a lot of things having to do with Marth, rarely any words spoken. But Pit didn't judge. Pittoo merely chuckled though, a devilish smirk on his lips now.

"Oh, I don't think he can meddle too much into this one anyway…" His crimson eyes turned to his counterpart. "Because he has a crush on you, chicken feathers" And all at once, everything seemed to freeze at the table, or at least in Pit's mind. Marth covered his mouth to attempt to hide his laughter, Ike smirked and Pittoo sipped his soda, trying to hide his ever growing evil smile behind the can. But Pit… Pit was frozen, like a vegetable, unable to register what he just heard.

"He… has a… crush…. On me?" The Angel spoke, slowly and with long pauses, still unable to register everything yet. Pittoo nodded, placing the can down to show his evil but triumphant smile, now his laundry was taken care of for two months and he scared the feathers off his look alike!

"Why is this shocking to you?..." Suddenly Ike spoke up, eyes turning to him while Pittoo's eyes widened.

"He can talk!?" The black angel asked, a look of shock and confusion on his face, but everyone simply ignored him.

"I mean, is it such a bad thing he has a crush on you? Do you not like men Pit?" He asked, and somehow, these words struck a chord to him. Was he gay? Did he like men? Or did he like women? Maybe he liked both? At this point, he didn't know.

"Well…" Pit started, getting out of his frozen tundra. "I mean… maybe? I don't really know, I haven't actually thought of it to tell you the truth…" The Angel mumbled, looking down at the table.

"Why don't you try it?" Marth asked, a smile to his lips. "You might be surprised at the outcome later on" The Prince's words struck something inside the Angel, his eyes drifted to the table top, thinking hard about what could or could not happen with this information. On one hand, if he started dating Link, he would have successfully paired up another couple for the day, as well as have a boyfriend to top it off. On the other hand, if he denied Link, this would surely break him, and Pit hated hurting anyone. But the sad part of this was, he wasn't all that sure of which side to take.

It was a few minutes later until Pit decided on which path to take, taking a deep breath and standing up from his seat suddenly. This in turn causing his friends to jump a little, not realizing that the Angel had been thinking for that long, they raised an eyebrow at him.

"I… I made my decision" Was all the brunette said, before walking away from his friends and out of the cafeteria; the three sat there, very confused, but also a little anxious to see how this goes.

It didn't take too long for Pit to find the Hero, having asked around a little bit, he pinpointed that the blond was helping Peach in her garden outside of the mansion. So that was where he set out, hopefully to resolve all of this and reveal what he really wanted. As he approached the entrance of the large garden, the Angel let out a long sigh, his heart beating faster within his chest just thinking about approaching the knight. His brown eyes widened, seeing said boy down the path, sitting on his knees as he picked various flowers of many colors. Peach wasn't with him it seemed, which meant she probably went to go do something, leaving he and the Hylian alone now. Mustering up all his courage, he let out one more sigh before walking over to the boy.

The closer he got though, the more he started to get nervous, now that he looked at Link, he realized how adorable he was. The cute way he smiled after picking a flower, the way his back curved as he sat up, the way his eyes sparkled. This was not going to be easy, and he prayed for Palutena to give him strength. Walking a little closer, he found himself standing right beside Link now, and at first it seemed he did not notice, but doing a double take suddenly, his blue eyes peered up at the angel. Pit restrained a small laugh when he noticed the Hylian instantly flush a dark red, gasping as he stood up clumsily, clutching the flowers to his chest and nearly crushing them in the process.

"P-Pit…" The Hylian quietly muttered, staring at the brunette questioningly. Pit could feel his cheeks heating up too, realizing how much cuter the boy got within just seconds.

"Heh, h-hey Link…" Now I'm stuttering? Oh Goddess Palutena, please please PLEASE give me strength. He thought, clearing his throat before going on. "Umm, so… I kind of heard something… about you, that I wanted to see if it was true or not…" He spoke slowly, not taking his eyes away from the others at all yet.

"O-Oh?" The Hylian questioned, as if realizing he was crushing said flowers, he relaxed his hands around the stems a little, but it was obvious to Pit that his stature was still stiff, afraid of what the Angel's next words would be.

In return, Pit nodded, giving a small smile to Link in order to help calm him down some. "Uh huh… I heard from someone that you…" He paused, as if pondering if he should say this or not. It's not like the two were extremely close, so it's not like it would hinder any friendship relationship they have. And he admits, he would like to get to know the Hylian more, outside of his shell, and outside of Zelda always speaking for him at times. Taking in a deep breathe, he continued. "I heard that you liked me… as in… have a crush on me…" And almost instantly, the Hylians cheeks and tips of his ears turns a dark shade of red, striking blue eyes widened and his grip on the flowers tightened again; this made Pit chuckle a little.

"I-I… I-I am v-very sorry Pit! I understand if you do not like me in that way-heck I didn't even know if you liked men or not! I-It's just a petty crush is all, I just find you very s-sweet and caring and funny and very attractive that I-"

"Woah, woah, slow down Link. You might run out of breathe here soon" The Angel joked, giving a warm smile as he tried to calm down the Hylian. Link in turn let out a breath, his face turning to a slightly lesser shade of red now, but he still looked like he was worried for the outcome of Pit finding out his secret. Another chuckle escaped the angel, one of his hands rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. "To be honest Link, before I found this out, I didn't know what I liked, or who I liked in that way. I had just been going around setting other people up… but I guess I didn't account for myself…" The blond in front of him nodded his head slowly, seeming to understand his words so far.

"Well… I-If you didn't know… then…"Blue eyes casted down to the ground underneath their feet. "W-What's your answer?" He questions, peering up from his bangs at the brunette. It may be because Pit was still thinking about it, or just a complete asshole too, but he teased the Hylian a little, smirking slightly as he crossed his arms and thought about it a moment or two. This in turn resulting in Link giving him a playful glare, his lips pouting out in the slightest.

"Heh, alright, I can see the glare you're giving me…" Pit finally said, holding his hands up in defense, Link was the one to smirk now. "My answer is, yes. Yes I like you Link, and yes I will go out with you." The smirk that Link had on his lips formed to a bright smile.

"R-Really?" The Hylian asked, Pit smiled just as much and nodded in return; a small gasp leaving him when Link lunged forward and tackled the Angel into a hug, his arms wrapped around his neck. It took the brunette a moment to register they were hugging, but soon enough chuckled and wrapped his own arms around the blonde's waist. They stood there like that for a while, basking in the bright sunlight that shined over the area; a light breeze brushing passed them while Link continued to grip the bouquet of flowers in one of his hands. Their hug ended early though when a squeal was heard behind them, both eyes widening as they turned to see none other than Peach, coming back with a pitcher of lemonade and two cups. Her large and fangirlish smile was obvious enough; she was definitely rooting for them to get together.

Later that day, Palutena had returned with Viridi next to her, holding a few bags filled with whatever they thought necessary to buy… mainly clothes. By that time, Pit and Link already announced to friends that they were dating now, never once letting go of their hold on each other's hands. Most, if not everyone, was thrilled of their news; but now was the time to tell Palutena… and explain to her what he had done all day without her presence around.

"You did WHAT!?" Palutena shrieked as she, Pit and Viridi stood in the first floor hall of the mansion. Viridi crossed her arms and rolled her eyes. "Pit, I leave for a few hours, can I at least come back to a normal every day schedule for the mansion? Every time I do this there always seems to be something new that happened. Last time you had somehow managed to run the cafeteria short on food because the children and pokemon were hungry, even though it was almost dinner time for everyone. You just HAD to be the food monitor for them. The time before that, you somehow convinced Master Hand that having a stock life of 90 would be a good idea to build more stamina. Oh and I won't even get started on the time where-"Pit interrupted her.

"B-But Lady Palutena, this time is wasn't anything like that!" He attempted to defend his actions, his face a light red from all of the mistakes he made in the past.

"Che, yeah right Pit…" Viridi started "Playing cupid for a day and pairing up almost everyone in the tournament is definitely not as bad, of course meddling in people's lives and setting them up with random people is normal-"

"But it wasn't random! I really thought about the pairings, and they seem really happy! Besides, I only paired up five couples today!" Lady Palutena in turn sighed and shook her head, placing her hands on her hips.

"Tell me the pairings, so at least I can fix it later if they are bad" She muttered, truly thinking Pit made a huge mistake with this. Pit pouted and humphed, a small growl in the back of his throat.

"Fine… I paired Shulk and Lucina…" He started, Palutena's eyes widened a little.

"Really?... Huh… That's not bad I suppose…" She muttered, letting out a small relieved sigh. "Go on"

"Luigi and Daisy" The Angel said, feeling a little more confident seeing both Viridi and Palutena's shocked looks; but Viridi spoke up next.

"Wow… I was wondering when those two would get together…" Pit's confidence levels boosted again, Palutena nodded for him to continue.

"Samus and Captain Falcon…" Even he admitted, that was a bit of a stretch for him, but the two seemed like they wanted to make it work, and Palutena didn't seem too disgusted by it, just a bit confused.

"Marth and Ike…" At this point, Palutena was eating her words, realizing how better these pairings were then what she thought before.

The Goddess cleared her throat "Alright Pit, and the last one?"

"…Me and Link…" Both women's eyes widened, both staring at the Angel like he grew a second head or something. Viridi moved her hands so they were placed on her hips, leaning in toward him in disbelief.

"You and Elf boy? Since when did you like guys, Pit?" She asked, though Palutena wasn't mean about it, she smiled awkwardly and nodded, wanting to know as well. Pit rubbed the back of his neck, blushing a light pink as he smiled as well.

"Um, today? Or at least I think I like guys…" His smile turned warmer now. "I just know Link is a sweet, caring and funny guy that I want to be with a lot. And Pittoo told me he had a huge crush on me, and the more I thought about it, the more I felt the need to date him too…" His gaze turned to Palutena. "Is this alright Lady Palutena?" The brunette wanted to confirm, knowing full well an Angel dating a Mortal is sometimes frowned upon, but judging by the smile on her lips, this wasn't an issue.

"Pit, if you really like him, and want to be with him, who am I to stand in your way?" The green haired Goddess inquired, Pit smiled widely, bowing his head in respect to her.

"Thank you, Lady Palutena, I promise we will treat each other right in this relationship!" Palutena giggled at this, while Viridi rolled her eyes.

"I don't care, so long as you don't rub your romance in front of everyone, like kissing or hugging all the time" The nature spirit muttered, Pit blushed, shaking his head.

"V-Viridi! We just started dating today!" The Angel freaked out, but he found that in his mind, thinking of kissing the Hylian sent his heart fluttering some. Next to Viridi, Palutena laughed some, watching as the two did their usual bickering.

"Well, regardless Pit, I am happy for the both of you. And you did make some good choices on pairings, so I am not as mad as I was before. Just remember, some people don't like their lives to be meddled with, okay?" The Goddess stated, giving a knowing smile, Pit sadly nodded, knowing full well what she meant, and promised not to do it again. Looking up at the clock perched on the wall a few feet from them, the Angel smiled widely.

"Ah, I should go, I'm going to be late if I don't leave now!" He breathed, turning on his heels and readying to leave. The two ladies stared in confusion.

"W-wait…" Palutena stopped him "Go where?"

Pit spun around, his smile larger than before "I'm going to pick up Link at his dorm; we are going on our first date tonight at the café a few blocks from here, wish me luck!" And with that, Pit ran off down the hall and around the corner to go find his new lover; Palutena smiled in turn while Viridi rolled her eyes. Pit, her cupid, was surely a hand full at times.

Wow, if that didn't take me a while to come up with, I don't know what else would XD I know, really fluffy, no kissing and a bit OOC, but I really wanted to make this, so I did! I like the idea of Seme Pit and Uke Link, and overall, I know I made Link really OOC, but I also added in some sass to him to try and even it out some. That and sadly I realized when I was done I could have paired assist trophies as well *Shrugs* And ending is a bit rushed but hey, I like it overall XD Tell me what you think!
