Author's notes: Written to fill a request by kelscium at fairy_flash . I wrote this before the end of the Edo arc, somewhere around the chapter where Gajeel first fights PantherLily, so there are some discrepancies with the manga. It's interesting to note that there was a fight during the party though xD. And really, everyone should read Fairy Tail. And no, I wasn't paid to say that.

Heads turned as Gajeel walked into the lunch hall of the guild and sat down casually at the bar.
However, everyone quickly averted their eyes when Gajeel turned to stare at them.
"What's up with them?" Gajeel said grumpily, as Mirajane slid his usual drink towards him.
"Just ignore them," Mira smiled. "They're just interested in the new additions to the guild".
"Oh, I should introduce you to my cat," Gajeel grinned and pointed to the person next to him, his canines glinting even in the low light. "Panther Lily, this is Mira. Mira, this is Panther Lily".
"I, am not your cat," Panther Lily said in a long suffering tone. "Coco and I merely agreed to join Fairy Tail and to guard His Royal Highness. I am however, very pleased to meet you, Mira".
"Juvia is very happy that you have found your cat," Juvia said, appearing suddenly behind them.
"Do you like fish?" Happy asked, offering a plate full of them to Panther Lily.
"He probably likes milk," Gray said.
"Gray-sama is so smart," Juvia swooned, while Gajeel despaired at how easily his ex-partner and strongest female mage in Phantom Lord had fallen for the ignorant ice mage, who was obviously in a relationship with Natsu.
"Oi, Gray, let's fight," Natsu banged into the hall. "Gajeel, you and your cat can tag team with Gray too".
Pfft.. It's so obvious.
"I said.. I'm not his cat," Panther Lily shouted.
