I Hate You And Missed Birthdays
Stella Bonasera was walking around for what seemed like the millionth time. She was currently on a case and needed some results on the evidence she found at the crime scene. She gave it to Lindsay to process but the only problem was now she couldn't find Lindsay anywhere. After Stella passed the women's bathroom on the way to Lindsay's office to see if she was there and if not ask one of the guys had they seen her. She then suddenly stopped midway and put her ear to the bathroom door. Stella thought she heard something and it's a sound she heard before was that someone crying.
Entering the bathroom quietly Stella made her way over to the stall that all the noise was coming from. "Lindsay is that you?" Stella asked softly. The crying ceased and after a few minutes of silence the stall door opened to reveal a extremely red face puffy eyed Lindsay and judging by how red she was Stella could only assume she was crying in here for a long time before she found her. "Lindsay what's wrong what has you so upset?" Stella asked her friend as she placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. Feeling like she was going to break down once again Lindsay said as she sobbed almost shouting "he hates me! Stella he hates me!" Now slightly confused Stella asked "Who hates you Lindsay who?"
"Jack said he hates me Stella!" Stella suddenly remembered the Jack that Lindsay was referring to was the son of her boyfriend BAU Unit Chief Aaron Hotchner. "Oh come here honey" Stella said sadly as she pulled her friend into a hug allowing her to cry once again. After another few moments of nothing but crying Stella asked her friend "Now why would Jack hate you he loves you. You told all of us that on numerous occasions that we've all lost track that we couldn't bother counting anymore." Stella smiled to herself as she heard Lindsay laugh and chuckle a bit despite how sad she was. "You'd probably want to know what's really going on don't you" Lindsay said slowly after a few moments.
"Well…." Stella started to say she then added "it would help me to understand why you say Jack Hotchner hates you so much all of a sudden. Plus if you tell me it might make you feel better." Stella noticed Lindsay frowning once again most likely thinking about Jack. "Jack said he hates me because I missed his birthday because I got wrapped up in a case and forgot to call" Lindsay said quietly. "Oh!?" was all Stella said the pair were interrupted by another knock on the bathroom door which was followed by a familiar voice. That Stella and Lindsay realized after a few minutes that it was Mac and he was looking for them. Stella quickly left the bathroom but not before saying "that they'd finish talking about this later." Lindsay quickly agreed and then proceed to make herself look more presentable. But that's kind of hard to do when you've been crying in a bathroom stall for a long time maybe even an hour.

With the following pairing Aaron Hotchner and Lindsay Monroe; with a little bit of Jack thrown in for good measure.
