Percy,Jason,Frank,Leo,Nico,Coach Hedge,Annabeth,Piper,Hazel, and Reyna were fighting a minotaur and trying to keep it at bay. They were sailing north on the
Argo ll. They were on a quest and this was the prophecy:
Ten half-bloods shall answer the call,
One will rise and the other will fall,
Nine will be left with a big help from a friend,
While one's life will end,
Head to north you shall go,
And you shall find a dead foe
They all knew that someone was going to die but they didn't understand the third line, Nine will be left with a big help from a friend,. They didn't have any friends on their way to meet. They also didn't understand the last verse, And you shall find a dead foe,. So someone's coming back from the dead that was a foe? They'll have to see about that. That's when a blood curdling yell was heard. everyone looked to see who it was and then they found that it was Percy. He was hit by the minotaur right on the stomach by the creatures tail. Annabeth hurried over to Percy and dragged him to his room aboard the Argo ll while Piper and the rest kept fighting. Annabeth started crying. She knew that a minotaurs tail is very poisonous and that Percy will die soon."Annabeth, don't worry. I'll be here the whole time, just don't cry." Percy soothed." It's not all right Percy." replied Annabeth. "I need to tell you something and please tell the others. I will be in your dreams and the whole time i'll be there and i'll help you on the can you do me two last favors?" Percy asked."Anything,"Annabeth replied softening her crying."Tell the others all about this, it's important and second i'll visit you from time to time." Percy said."How?"Annabeth asked."I'll come as a ghost or rather just be in your mind from some time."replied Percy."Okay Percy...bye."she chocked on the word bye. Annabeth held Percy's hand as he died."I love you,Annabeth."whispered Percy."I love you too Percy."Annabeth answered. Then Percy's hand went limp on Annabeth's hand and that's how she knew that Percy was completely dead."I'll love you forever Percy." She whispered one last time before she walked out of his room and was going to continue fighting. That's when she realized that fourth verse of the Prophecy was about Percy. She started sobbing lightly. She walked in the Mess Hall. Jason,Frank,Leo,Nico,Coach Hedge,Piper,Hazel,and Reyna were already all looked pretty sad."Guys I need to tell you something."Annabeth all looked at her."Here sit down Annabeth,"Piper said. Annabeth sat next to Piper as she started telling them what Percy told her. When she was finished Jason spoke,"So Percy's life is the one that ends and he's also in the third verse?" "Ya pretty much,"Annabeth replied."So then who's the dead foe?" spoke a voice. Everyone turned to see the source of the voice and found it was Nico."I mean if it's not Percy then who?" he asked.
