Somewhere behind me there is a man, taller than me, but not by much. We move around, change positions, but he's always there, supporting me. He's steady, so I don't have to be. He worries over me, and our friends, because he cares. He controls the game, knowing things before they happen. He works hard, so we can be the greatest. We are two halves of one whole, communicating without words. Always in sync. He's my partner, and my best friend. I am Kikumaru Eiji, but I'm only one half of Seigaku's Golden Pair.
