Chapter 1

Danny walked with a spring in his step to his locker after his third period class. Sam and Tucker found their way to him after they had finished retrieving the books from their own lockers. Danny had a huge smile on his face as he merrily went through his locker, taking out the necessary books for his next class.

"So you're going to be partnered up with Paulina?" asked Tucker.

"Yea, isn't that awesome?" Danny said, turning to Tucker with a huge grin on his face, then turned back and closed his locker.

"Danny, man, you have all the luck"

"If by awesome you mean terrifying, then yes." Sam chimed in with an annoyed look. "God, what do you two see in her?"

"Ummm she's hot?" Danny said.

"Yea, pretty obvious Sam" Tucker said giving Sam a blank look. Sam gave a sigh.

"Wel, let's get to class"

Then Paulina walked by. Danny's mouth nearly dropped. She was gorgeous. She was a stallion. Her nose was upturned (as it always was) and she had her books clutched to her chest, as she walked.

Danny quickly jumped in front of her.

"Oh boy, here we go..." Sam said drolly.

"So Paulina did you hear that we've been assigned together? You and me, me and you, working together... together"

Paulina looked at the awkward, somewhat sweaty boy in front of her for a second with a raised eyebrow.

"Ummm yeaaaah..." Paulina started in her thick spanish accent "that reminds me, just because we've been partnered up for this project thing together, doesn't mean it's ok for you to talk to me." Then she looked at Tucker and Sam standing there. "or ok for your loser friends to talk to me. Ok? bye." Then she walked off in a strut.

Sam glared at her coldly. "And thats what you guys call "hot"?"

Both Danny and Tucker had fallen back to back staring at Paulina as she walked away. They were drooling.

"Gotta get me some of THAT" said Tucker never taking his eyes off her.

"Some of WHAT!" asked Sam irritated. Neither of them were paying attention to her though.

"God this is ridiculous, Im going to class" Sam said as she walked away with an angry strut.

"mmm Yeah, actually we should be getting to class" Tucker said as he stood up straight and checked his watch. "Cmon dude"

"Alright" Danny said, still somewhat looking in the direction Paulina walked away in.
