Blonde Hair and Indigo Eyes
A Peanuts Fanfiction (Lucy x Schroeder)
By LivingOnLaughs
Lucy skipped across the street merrily. Her black hair flew in the mild breeze and she wore her favorite blue dress to match her eyes. "La, la, la, ti ta" she chanted happily. "I'm going to visit Schroeder"
She knocked on the door bubbly. Knockity Knock. Red and pink hearts lifted Lucy up as her boyfriend, Schroeder, opened the door. "Hi Schroeder" she smiled.
The blonde boy rubbed his indigo eyes groggily. "Hi *yawn* Lucy, come in" he explained as the black-haired-girl frolicked inside.
"S, how about a little Beethoven?" she asked, fluttering her eyes happily. "No? Then maybe Tchaikovsky, Bach, Brahms, Chopin" she began listing off names of composers as Schroeder laid his head on the piano.
"So tired…" he groaned groggily as Lucy kept on rambling on. He didn't even have enough strength to slide the piano away from her as his eyes closed a little.
"Schroeder? Did you hear anything I said?" she asked. "Yoo hoo" Lucy continued, poking Schroeder's hair. All she got in return was a yawn.
"Just play whatever you want," Schroeder yawned again as Lucy skootched over so she was facing the ivory and ebony keys.
Lucy smiled and danced her fingers on the keys. She had no idea what the heck she was playing or that her notes were completely off key; but Schroeder didn't mind, after all, he had nearly nodded off when Lucy began playing.
"Well?" the fussbudget asked. "Am I doing well?" she sighed, not knowing what she was even doing, yet enjoying it. Her fingers kept pressing on the keys as she looked over at the blonde boy.
He had fallen fast asleep as she played the music she was making up. Lucy sighed and slammed her fists on the keys, causing him to fall over, yet he still wasn't woken up. "My Aunt Marion was right: never try to date with a musician" she sighed to herself.
The bossy fussbudget grumbled and carried the blonde haired piano player onto the couch, where she kissed him on the temple before tiptoeing out of the house and to the brick wall.
Charlie Brown was talking to Linus when they noticed Lucy walk up to them. "Charlie Brown, Linus; I have a question" she began as the boys groaned.
"What is it, Lucy?" groaned Charlie Brown as he and Linus sighed in disbelief. They weren't expecting this alright, so it was a complete shock to them.
"Well, Charlie Brown, I was wondering if I have ANY musical talent at all" she continued, half expecting some perquisite in curiosity from the failure face or her own brother.
"Why're you asking, Lucy?" Charlie asked in confusion. Lucy never talked about herself having a musical talent despite everyone else having some sort of musical talent from Franklin on the guitar, Pigpen on the cello and drums or even Charlie Brown on the fifty-cent cigarette banjo.
"Well, Charlie Brown, I was over at Schroeder's house again and I was just letting my fingers wander onto the piano keys and it lulled him to sleep" she explained.
Linus giggled. "Lucy, just the sound of your voice can put someone to sleep," he teased as Charlie Brown tried holding back laughter.
Lucy groaned. "Laugh it up, blockheads…one day I'll get that Schroeder Klimt's attention, just you wait and see!" she announced.
