I believe it was his eyes that I noticed first. The way they looked straight at me on that fateful day. It was like they could see into my soul. Like they knew what I was thinking. The second thing I noticed was his lips. The way they parted slightly when they smiled at me. I didn't smile back, I couldn't. I was frozen in place. I thought to myself, "If he speaks I won't be able to say anything in reply" I could feel my face turning red as he approached me. "Excuse me but do you happen to know where I may find this locker?" he flashed a piece of paper at me. Words faltered me. I tried to talk I really did. But I couldn't. I just looked up at him in bewilderment. He shrugged, "Okay, maybe I'll try an easier question" He extended his hand to me "My name is Eli Goldsworthy, what is yours?" It's Ellie Nash I stammered as I extended my hand to his. As our hands touched, I felt this electricity running through my skin, starting from my palms and spreading right to the tip of my toes. I continued to hold Eli's hand in mine, grinning stupidly. Eli grasped my fingers in his and stared into my eyes. "You have such beautiful eyes" he winked and in a flash had turned to walk down the hallway,. I stared at him until he had turned the corner and could no longer see his profile through the horde of teenagers. I sighed and banged my fist on my locker. "Idiot", I mumbled to myself. I retrieved my items for class and headed off, my fingers still tingling from where he had let his dangle from mine.
