Hi guys I know this might not rhyme completely, but It was just a poem that popped into my head during social studies. It kinda does a quick run through of the series but it isn't very detailed but its enough to get the point across
When we left home
we were alone
We had only each other
and none other
We were broken
it was our token
For lurking in forbidden ground
we hadn't gone without a sound
We screamed and cried
for he almost died
But I saved him
by giving my limb
And by binding his soul
I left his story untold
He lived again
before we begin
Our journey strong
we'll find out
Where we belong
a freak with automail
And a metal pail
stand together
Hopeful and strong
but are separated
By the military dogs
lurking behind the fog
I gave up freedom
because of their books
I needed em
but the truth I found
Unwound my heart
there is no way
To save his day
without taking
The light from another
he was supposedly my only brother
But I found
my other brother bound
Only to this world
by his form
It isn't human
Its different from me
why didn't I see
He was just like me
a freak nobody wanted
Who longed only to be normal
we weren't formal
When we died
I only wonder
Did someone cry?
