There's a loud crash and a shout as a heavily pregnant woman falls to the floor in the middle of Tuesday afternoon clinic. The midwives rush to the woman straight away to asist her.

"Where's Doctor Turner?" Sister Evangelina asks hurridly.

"On his break, he went out for a smoke, I think," replies Trixie as she and Jenny help the lady to her feet.

"I'll go and fetch him, you get her on a bed." She instucts the young nurses.

Sister Evangelina walks through the clinic hurridly, to the back door that leads onto the ally way that she knows Doctor Turner and Nurse Franklin use for their cigarette breaks. Opening the door she is about to speak, to call him back in, but she is stopped by the sight she is greeted with. Sister Bernadette – no, it's Shelagh now, she must remind herself - is leant against the brick wall with her hands pressed against Doctor Turners chest and his hand is at her waist. They are talking quietly and Sister Evangelina can't help but be startled by the change she see's in the girl she once called a Sister. It's not just the blue nurses dress and blonde hair that is now on display. The girl has a smile on her face and a sparkle in her eye that she'd never seen shine so bright before. She laughs at something he says as he steps back and takes two cigarettes out of the box in his pocket. Lighting them, he hands the first to her and she raises it to her lips and breaths in expertly. This is something else Sister Evangelina never thought she'd see, but the whole action looks so natural. She blows the smoke away and starts to thank him, but the Doctor leans in to kiss her before she has a chance. Shelaghs arm comes up to circle around his neck, her diamond engament ring glinting in the summer light as she leans in to the kiss. Finally Sister Evangelina feels she has seen enough and clears her throat loudly. The couple spring apart, turning matching shades of red as they turn to see who has caught them. Seeing Sister Evangelina, Shelagh drops the cigarette and stands on it. They both stammer out apologies and excuses, but Sister Evangelina only raises an eyebrow and lets them squirm for a moment, before saying,

"Come on Doctor Romance, you're needed inside, Mrs. Leaper is having another fainting episode."

AN - So this is just going to be a series of drabbles, probably mostly about Dr Turner and Shelagh, from multiple POV's, but maybe other characters will feature, we'll see.
