Of Bubblegum and Annoyance.

"Stop it," he warned while sending her a glare.

"No," she giggled and popped her gum again. She had grown to adore annoying the redheaded man, which explained her current situation. Her lengthy form was bent down beside him, her fingers gripping the edge of the desk while she peered over it, spying the paperwork that he was presently filling out, which he was only doing because of her. In her mouth happened to be a sweet flavored piece of gum, which she had found in his desk, she shameless began popping at it an hour ago just to get his attention.

"I'm serious," he scolded. "Stop."

She just grinned and blew another bubble, popping it as well. He narrowed his eyes and glared at her for the corner of his eye, frowning as he signed another paper. She knows he thinks he scares her, but obviously he doesn't. Honestly, she thought, who would be scared of Rod; he wasn't that frightening, he looked more like a puppy then an ex-gang member.

"Stop."

Pop.

"I'm serious, Shotgun."

Pop.

"Stop it or I'll—"

Pop.

"That's it," he snapped as she began to blow another bubble. The brunette glanced up at him just in time to see an intense look of annoyance in his eyes, then his hand flew out. It met her bubble and made it pop, splattering pink, sticky bubble gum all over her face. She let out a yelp of surprise and stumbled backwards on her rear end. "Rod!"

Laughter broke past his annoyed expression as he looked down at her, her tanned face covered in the bubblegum she had been using to annoy him so. He proceeded to chuckle harder as her face showed her own annoyance, beginning to attempt to pick the gum off her face. "Shot—"

"I hate you," she pouted while sending him a halfhearted glare.

"I know."

"The sunset," the girl lifted her hand and pointed at the sky. His dark eyes moved to watch the colors and realized that she was right; the sight was absolutely stunning. He felt the corners of his lips twitch upward, he could never stop the small smiles that appeared when she was around, when she did something such as this.
