My name is Captain Allmeg. I woke up on a trading island with my three crewmates Sailor Reyes, Lookout Deasel, and Treasure Hunter Leeb. We knew each other but had no memory of our previous adventures. This mysterious stranger with green glowing eyes wanted to speak with us. He said he had an adventure for us to find out his backstory. Me and the crew accepted it and this stranger gave us a book. The stranger told us the trading island was located in the Sea Of Thieves. My crewmates helped me raise the anchor and lower the sails. Reyes was wanting to head to the Old Faithful island on our map which was North East from our location. At the time I didn't want to read the book that the mysterious stranger gave to us because we felt it was fake, this stranger looked kind of sketchy. A few hours passed by and it was getting dark, a volcano started erupting. This was a bit terrible but there was nothing we could do if someone was in the vicinity. Leeb said he would go and read the book and he figured out that we were supposed to head to North 13 on the map.
As soon as the island came into view Leeb jumped into the water and swam to the island, he found a chest with a note in it. The note had information about this mysterious stranger back at the trading island. Deasel and Leeb took off after this to ride a rowboat. As soon as everyone got back from goofing off we headed North. This creature, which I guess was a Kraken started attacking us. We started using our cannons on it. It had about three or four large tentacles with mouths sticking out of the ocean. One tentacle picked me up and kept trying to drown me but I eventually got away from it and swam to the ship. As I was swimming to the ship the creatures tentacles had hold of it. The whole bottom of the ship had a ton of holes in it so individually me and Deasel grabbed a bucket to get rid of the water that was filling the bottom of the ship. While me and Deasel were doing that Leeb used wood to repair the holes. We eventually got away but an enemy ship started attacking us. I died and some spirit said I could leave this ghost ship he sent me to in the afterlife. Next thing I know I'm in my bed with Reyes trying to wake me up. He said he died and the same thing happened to him. Leeb was standing outside in shock. He turned around and saw us, me and Reyes died right in front of his eyes. After this the crew called it a night and we headed to a hotel at the trading island. Leeb told us some books he purchased talked about a realm of ghost ships in the afterlife but he didn't know it was actually real.
Hey it's the author here, this concludes my Sea Of Thieves fanfiction story for right now. Stay tuned for the next short story where our friends figure out what this realm is and the evil behind it.
