there was a lot of noise outside of Elronds palace and I just could not figure out why until he heard a shout;

" they have come home! Our elves have come home!" I ran outside to see the troops walking towards them though there was a figure that was running ahead. My eyes widened to realize who it was, Haldir! And he seemed to have something in his arms. No, not something My heart ached seeing who it was Haldir was holding... Legolas, who was bloodied and dirt covered.

"Aragorn! You must help him, he still has a chance!" Gingerly shifting him into my arms, and the only things that i was focused on was running to the emergency ward, my friends harsh ragged breathing, and making sure that i didn't drop him. When I got there I gently set him on the bed and saw Elrond, my adoptive father, and his two real sons, Elladan and Elrohir, run into the room grabbing towels, cloths and many other things. He slipped Legolas's outer tunic off as well as the under shirt He was about to say something when i heard a coarse voice.

"E-E-st-tel-l?" Legolas said stuttering.

"Yes mellon nin, it is me..." I said calmly. "I am here." I started rubbing smooth circles on the back of his hand to try and ease him a bit.

"Elrohir, Aragorn ion nin, I need you to hold him down, this is really going to hurt... there is a shard of the blade in his chest. He must not move, it's too close to his heart to have him jerk about too much." So with that Elrohir and I grabbed hold of Legolas signaling that he was held down. Elrond then took a small knife he used in surgeries and made a small cut above Legolas's heart, blood trickling out. Legolas screamed in pain as it cut. I started to whisper soft calming words in his ear and soon he only gave small whimpers.

"I have it. Elladan, towels now." He said sternly.

"Yes Ada." Coming back with some. Once father stopped the bleeding he dressed Legolas's chest in clean white bandages, clean him up fully, and left so he could get some rest along with Elrohir and Elladan.
