E/O Challenge: Bind
A/N: This is a follow-up to my previous drabble "Winchester Lesson 26" (challenge word: belt). Set after the episode "Hunted."
Normally, the situation Sam currently found himself in would be considered a bit of a bind.
Captured by a rogue hunter, a likely friend of Gordon's.
Isolated, weaponless.
Hands bound behind him – with a belt.
Sam smiled slightly.
"What the hell you grinning at, boy?" the gruff man said.
"Just really appreciating my brother right now," Sam replied simply.
"Think he's gonna save your sorry ass?"
Sam began to work the belt behind him.
"Actually, yeah."
His next move wasn't thoroughly planned out, but thanks to Dean's lesson, Sam could eliminate one obstacle and attain an unexpected advantage.
