Theme 1: Introduction

Ienzo was a small boy.

He didn't speak much.

He rarely even wanted to be in the company of other people.

He was perfectly fine alone in his room with his imaginary friend, in which was only his shadow.

A few neighborhood kids would dare to ask him to come out and play, but he would always politely decline and go back to his 'friend'.

His mother worried that this was unhealthy, but as long as her son was happy and uninjured, she would accept.

Ienzo was perfectly content to be with the shadows on the wall.

Life was simple.
