This will be a college au where jean and Marco meet over a love of modern day literature in one of their minor classes. I hope you enjoy it! I don't really know how long it will be because its my first Snk fanfic, but I'll try my best!

Jeans POV

I woke up to the smell of coffee, which my roommate Reiner was glad to make us every morning. "Hey Barista can I have a dry mocha frappé, no whip? Oh and make it snappy" I heard him scoff and that was my queue to laugh my ass off at the fact that this was actually our morning routine.

Reiner makes coffee

I say something a stuck up hipster would say at Starbucks

He scoffs inwardly at my dumb joke

Then we both sit on the sofa, drinking our coffee and watching Donald Duck.

And he's right on time, sitting down beside me and handing me a Disney princess mug as always. He always has the Cars mug and I always get the Disney princess mug. As I said, its a routine. Sometimes the routine changes, like today when I have modern literature in half an hour. I inwardly frown just thinking about the teacher, Mr. Ackerman.

I sluggishly get up and enter the bathroom, stripping free of my clothes and hopping into the shower. The hottest water we have is the perfect temperature to make my back red, but also wake me up simultaneously

I decided to look presentable today, throwing on a pair of black jeans and a sweater, brushing my hair into an upward style and gelling it. I looked in the mirror after throwing on my beat-up black converse. "Lookin good, hot shot" I throw my reflection a wink as I glide out of the bathroom. I wave goodbye to Reiner as I sling my bag over my shoulder and head out.

"I have 15 minutes to get there." I say to out loud to reassure myself. I get there, having about 5 minutes left as I get cozy in one of the lecture hall chairs. I keep my eyes on the door, waiting for Mr. Ackerman. Instead I see someone that I've never noticed before. Wow he's really cute, with big brown eyes, fluffy brown hair and an abundance of freckles EVERYWHERE. Ok yeah i have to meet this kid.
