Happy summer!
I've got some writers block so here is an oneshot.

"Monsters aren't real!"
"Yeah you didn't see one!"
"Liar!"
"Don't believe me?" I said slamming down my book and standing up.
"Come to the woods tomorrow night at midnight and see for yourselves, if your man enough," I said walking away.
I figured nobody would come, but anything to shut them up.
I came the next day at midnight like I usually do and to my surprise there were people there, wait for me to show them the monster.
"You're late," whined Teto.
"Where is the monster?" asked Haku.
"I didn't think you guys would come…"
"Why would we not come if you told us too?" asked Dell.
"Well I thought you guys didn't care…"
"We want to see the monster!" said Tei.
"She may not come out she's shy…"
"So now it's a 'she'? It's just a monster!" said Neru.
"I'm just as much as a girl as you," said Luka as she came out of the shadows.
She wore a short tattered white dress and she was very pale. She had long pink hair and green horns.
"AH MONSTER!" all the girls yelled, Dell just leaned against a tree and smoked a cigarette.
The girls ran away and Dell walked after them flicking his hand to gesture a "goodbye".
"This is just like the day we met…" said Luka a bit sad.
When I was 7 me and some of the other kids where playing tag in the forest when we heard somebody singing.
The singing came from a girl in a long white dress; she had long pink hair and green horns.
"AH MONSTER!" yelled the others.
They all ran away but I stayed, I don't know why… I was just as scared as them… but I soon realized the girl was the most scared.
"What's your name?" I asked.
"I don't have one." She replied.
"Want a name?" I asked getting a bit closer.
"Yeah," she said.
"Luka, your name can be Luka," I said.
She looked up at me and smiled "Okay!"
After that I told her not to come out until midnight so nobody would find her, we have been friends ever since.
"Luka do you know what 1+1 is?" I asked
"Us?" she asked like a confused little puppy.
"How many are we?"
"2!" she said.
"Right, I should teach you math," I said.
She got up, "I don't wanna learn!"
She ran away.
"Get back here!" I giggled and chased after her.
I jumped on her and we both started to laugh.
"You the best Human friend a Monster could have," she said.
"And you're the best Monster friend a Human could have."
This kind of feels like a prequel to Circus Monster.
This most have been how they would have meet, Right?
