AN: The Evil Little Plot Bunnies decided to come out and play. This is a ficlet tagged to Ignition :D. The "Like I need more men?" from Ziva just won't leave me. It's such a cute veiled Tiva moment.
Disclaimers: I love you guys, but I will never own you.
"Why the hell would they sell pills that would make you lose your hair?" Ziva demanded as she and Tony entered the elevator.
"I already told you, it's for growing hair." Tony replied incredulously and rolled his eyes at her as they descended to the parking lot.
"Why would I need more hair?" She said, repeating what she had asked him that morning.
Facing her, he spoke in a louder tone, "YOU DON'T NEED MORE HAIR! MEN DO!"
She took a step forward, invading his space. They were almost kissing. "And there is no need to scream at me, Tony."
He was about to get in his car. However, their close proximity made him forget about going home.
He leaned down but not enough for his lips to touch hers but she could feel his breath brushing her face. "My apologies, Miss Dah-veed." He said in a husky voice.
"Apology accepted," she said, her voice sultry.
They were doing it again. Just. Staring. No one's backing down. She tilted her head to the side. He flashed her a smile. She narrowed her eyes at him and licked her lips. His eyes went from her eyes to her lips and back again. It was painfully silent in the parking lot.
Waking up from his Ziva-induced trance, he cleared his throat. "Now, if you will excuse me, I have matters to attend to."
He smiled his smile again, and before he could open the door of his car, she cupped his face and brought her lips to his.
It didn't last long. It was just a feather-light kiss. A peck. He barely felt it, but he did. When she pulled away, her hands lingered on his cheeks longer.
"Uh, what was that for?" His face was scrunched up into that adorable expression she loved.
"Hot date tonight, yes?"
"Uh.."
"I just want to make it easier for you." She brushed imaginary lint off his suit.
"Huh? What do you mean 'make it easier for me'?"
"You don't need more women like I don't need more men."
"Why would I need more wo—" Figuring that he could answer that question since it was not so hard, he cut himself off and proceeded to the more important one. "Why would you need more men?"
She shrugged, playing with his necktie. "Why would I need more men?"
"Okaaaay. I don't get it." He put his hands on his hips.
She shrugged once more. "I already have one. A man, I mean."
"Huh?! Since when?" His eyes almost bulged out of his sockets.
She didn't answer immediately. He was getting impatient. Finally, she said, "A long time ago."
"Define 'A long time ago." He looked at her with pleading eyes.
Instead of replying, she leaned up and kissed him again, this time with more force it was going to leave a bruise on his lips.
"Why would I need more men when I already have you?"
He was shocked beyond belief. "Me? Since when did I become the man for you?"
"Go figure." She smirked. She turned away from him, but before she could walk away, he encircled his arms around her and whispered into her ear, "You think you gonna walk out on me just like that?" He nibbled her ear.
He knew that she could easily get out of his grasp if she wanted to, and he was glad she had no intensions of doing so.
"I could break your arms though." She faced him again, smiling.
"Yeah right." He snickered and kissed her forhead. "But you love me."
"Do I?" She asked sweetly.
"I know you do." He grinned. She slapped his arms playfully.
"What you say about being my hot date tonight?"
"I would love that."
And with one last kiss, and completely neglecting Ziva's Mini, they got in his car and drove away.
