I was running, fast through the woods. All in black and white. Why was I back here again? I finally made it to this opening with trees all closing in around me. I looked all around.. They were closing in on me. Hands coming up through the ground. Souls left behind. I fell to the ground and felt the sting of it and the brush of the hands. I saw the vale, the vale of tears as I woke up screaming. Lizzie sit by my bed.. She rubbed my arm soothingly. "Don't worry, Alice.. It was only a dream." She said. I sit up, looking her in the eyes. "And what do I acquire a visit for this time?" I asked getting up slowly standing and falling back down. She caught me. And whispered. "You remember that place? That beautiful place filled with blood, tears and lots of sharp objects that after a while it doesn't even hurt anymore?" I didn't waste time getting up and walked to my vanity. Candles still swayed in the dark, lighting it vaguely. I grabbed my water glass and sipped it slowly. "I did my time there. Do NOT ask me to return." I said looking at her through the vanity mirror. "Do not." I said once more.
"Alice, If you do not return. They will come after you.. And I don't believe you want that." She said with the glare of death. She took a step closer and turned her arms where I could see the scares. "Don't end up like me.." She whispered. "Lizzie why did you leave me?" I asked in a panic busting the glass in my hand. She walked closely to the shadows."Don't ask questions you can't hear the answer to, Alice." She said. And in a whisper. "They come.. Now." And she faded away.
I grabbed the blade from my vanity drawer and ran out of my room, down the hall and down the small stair case. I didn't waste anytime leaving out of the front door and down the stair case.
"Lizze!" I screamed as I ran towards the woods. Thunder strikes as the wind picked up, it was close to 3am at least. I finally approached the woods and saw a piece of Lizze's white dress with blood stains. I ran faster deep into the woods. I finally approached the center mark where my dreams take place. I turned as the trees looked as if they had closed in on me once more.
"Lizzie!" I shouted once more and felt the sting of my hand. I looked down to see glass shards in my hand from where I broke my water glass. I was starting to feel faint and dizzy from blood loss as I struggled to get out of the woods and quickly felt my knees buckle and the sting of the cold ground as it all faded to this cold black..
