Summary: Ichabod has somehow ended up in Sleepy Hollow and encounters Viktor in The Western Woods.

He should have never been there in the first place. Ichabod was certain about that. However, he felt like he was drawn here by someone whom he hadn't thought of since his return to New York, but he wanted to see this person again. Ichabod was so lost in his thoughts while he was walking through The Western Woods that he did not see the Tree Of The Dead until he smacked right into it and fell on the leaf-covered ground. Ichabod blinked and rubbed his head where a bruise was forming from the impact. Suddenly, the roots of the Tree opened and Viktor Herrmann-The Hessian came out and walked over to Ichabod. Viktor looked down and smiled at Ichabod. Ichy looked up when he felt a pair of eyes staring at him. He gasped in surprise when he saw The Hessian's icy blue eyes gazing at him.

"Guten tag, Ichabod," Viktor said.

Ichabod blinked and replied, "What? Do you speak English?"

"Guten tag means 'hello' in German. Yes, I do," Viktor responded.

"Interesting. Good. Um, what's your name?"

"Viktor Herrmann," he said.

"That's a very nice name, Viktor."

"Danke. It means 'thank you'."

"You're welcome. Viktor, do you have any idea as to why I'm here?" Ichy asked.

Viktor sat down beside Ichabod. He said, "Well, it seems to me that you have been drawn here because you want to see me again."

"Oh. Well, I was thinking about that while I was walking, but I don't know why I want to see you again, Viktor," Ichy replied.

"I think it's because you are in love with me." Viktor leaned in towads Ichabod and kissed him full on the mouth. Ichabod gasped and kissed him back. When they parted after a few minutes, Viktor said, "ich liebe dich, mein ewiger sich entfalten."

Ichabod cocked his head to one side and asked, "What does that mean, Viktor? It sounds very beautiful."

Viktor lovingly smiled at Ichabod and replied, "It means 'I love you, my eternal blossom'."

Ichabod's dark brown eyes widened in happy surprise and responded, "I love you, too, Viktor!" He then wrapped his arms around Viktor's neck and kissed him passionately. Viktor kissed Ichabod back passionately as well. They parted 20 minutes later.

"Mein ewiger sich entfalten, would you like to live with me in Germany? I have a lovely cottage in the German countryside," Viktor asked.

"I'd love to, Viktor!" Just as the words left Ichabod's lips, Daredevil came out of The Tree Of The Dead. Viktor mounted him, then leaned down and picked Ichy up and onto the saddle. Viktor smiled at Ichabod and said, "Then to Germany we go!"

And so it was that Ichabod and Viktor happily lived in Germany together forever.
