Chapter 1: Wedding Day
Lily sat in a small church room. Her wedding day had finally come. She was sitting in front of a mirror brushing her hair. She was wearing a long white wedding dress. She had just finished brushing her hair when she heard a knock at the door
"Come in!" She called.
The door flung open to reveal Sam, Rita and Ella standing in the doorway. The three of them were Lily's bridesmaids. Ella had light purple bridesmaid dress, Sam had a blue on and Rita had a red one on. Each of their hair was pulled back into a loose bun.
"Hey guys. What's up?" Lily asked.
"Uh…duh, Lily, we're your bridesmaids. We're here to see if you're all set to head on out to the sanctuary. Ella said.
"Oh right. Yeah. Just a minute" Lily replied trying to put on her necklace
"I'll help you put it on Lily. " Sam said
"Thanks Sam." Lily replied. Sam put the necklace on.
"No problem." Sam replied. Lily smiled at her friends.
"And there we go Lily your necklace is fixed your all set." Sam said.
As soon as Ella and Rita finished, fiddling with Lily's hair Lily's dad walked through the door. "Is our bride ready?"
"Yes She's ready." Ella replied.
"Ok. You guys go to the church sanctuary entrance. We're almost ready to start." Mr. Chao said.
"Ok, we'll get going."Sam replied.
Lily felt a rush of nerves hit her was she ready to get married...
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here to join these two in marriage." the pastor said.
He looked at the ring bearer. "May I have the rings?" He asked. The ring bearer, who was Ethan's nethew(Cal and Ella's son), walked over and handed the rings to Ethan. Ethan handed the pastor both of the rings. The pastor nodded and handed Lily's ring to Ethan.
"Place this ring on Lily's finger and repeat after me. With this ring, I be wed."
Ethan placed the ring on Lily's finger. "With this ring, I be wed."
"And now Lily, place this ring on Ethan's finger and repeat after me. With this ring, I be wed."
Lily put the ring on Ethan's finger. "With this ring, I be wed." Lily repeated.
Lily and Ethan grabbed each other's hands and turn to face each other. The pastor continued speaking. "Ethan, do you take Lily to be your lawful wedded wife to love, honor and cherish until death do you part?" The pastor asked.
Ethan looked at Lily. "I do." He replied.
"And Lily, do you take Ethan to be your lawful wedded husband to love, honor and cherish until death do you part?" The pastor asked again.
Lily looked to Ethan. She smiled. "I do." She replied.
"Then I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride." The pastor said as he closed his Bible.
Ethan leaned in and kissed Lily passionately on the lips. Lily loved every moment of that kiss. She felt like she was a princess and Ethan was her prince. After they parted from kissing, Ethan grabbed Lily's hand and led her out of the church. All of Lily and Ethan's family and friends, cheered as they walked down the aisle. Lily and Ethan stepped out of the church. They were again greeted by their friends and family. The two of them smiled and waved at their family and friends. After a bit they, approached their vehicle. Ethan let Lily get in first. He then got into the car. The driver shut the door got in the driver's seat. As the vehicle drove off. When they were on the road, Lily rested her head onto Ethan's chest as he kissed her head.
"I'm happy that we're husband and wife." Lily said happily.
"I am too. I love you Lily." Ethan replied.
"I love you too, Ethan." Lily said.
Lily and Ethan shared a kiss as they drove down the road to there wedding reception . They were glad that they would be spending their lives together.
