A/N: Okay, first of all, this is not to be taken seriously. I had just found out (after three years of owning him) that my cat is named Perseus Samuel Jackson. I was all like "Whaa? Who's this guy?" I then found out my cat's full name. And here I thought his name was just Jack. Huh. Anyway, I was sitting on my computer, trying to work on my summer home work, when this popped into my head and I had to write it, no matter that I had a speech due the next day and I hadn't started on it. I hope you enjoy it!

Percy, Annabeth, and Grover were all sitting silently at the bus station, waiting for their bus, and anxious because they were on their first quest.

The silence, however, was broken when they heard a frantic call of "Perseus!" They all looked up, thinking whoever was yelling was calling for Percy. After all, how many people do you know named Perseus?

The caller was a young girl, maybe fifteen years old, with her brown hair in a braid and her brown eyes hidden by her square glasses. She was wearing black pants, purple tennis shoes and an orange shirt with a turtle on it. She was darting around frantically, calling out "Perseus! Perseus, where are you?" over and over.

Annabeth, as smart as she is, figured out first that the girl wasn't calling for their Percy. After all, she'd stared right at them for a few seconds, and then completely ignored them. She explained her reasoning to the boys and they decided to go and ask if they could help her.

She noticed them just as they arrived in front of her. "Oh! Can I help you? I'm a little busy looking for someone."

Percy nodded. "Yeah, we noticed. Can we help?"

Her face brightened, her eyes sparkling. "Oh, would you really? Thank you so much!"

Grover blushed a little and asked "So, what does he look like?"

"Oh, he's very small, only coming up to my knees." Annabeth nodded her head and began looking around for a small toddler. Or, at least she did before the girl continued speaking. "His fur is orange with white strips. Hmm, what else...oh! He really likes high places." She looked at us hopefully, seeming to expect the three of them to find who she was searching for. However, all three of the pre-teens were frozen, staring at each other.

A cat! All of their thoughts screeched in shock. Then, simultaneously, they thought Why would you name your cat Perseus?

Percy opened his mouth to say something, though what that something was no one will ever know, for at that exact moment there was a loud yowl and suddenly there was an orange cat on Percy's head. He panicked, running in circles trying to get off, while the cat himself was hissing furiously and clinging tightly to Percy's head.

Grover and Annabeth were staring in shock while laughing hysterically at the same time. They ended up looking very strange. The unnamed owner of the cat, however was chasing Percy with her arms out in front of her, yelling "Perseus! Let go of him! Perseus!"

Many minutes later, the girl, who they found was named Kendall, was apologizing profusely while Annabeth tended to Percy's "wounds" and Grover was laughing his furry ass off.

Kendall walked off with Perseus - the cat - in a cat carrier, waving goodbye to the somewhat bewildered demigods.

"Annabeth?"

"Yes, Percy?"

"That was very weird."

"Yeah, I know."

"Oi, you two, our bus is here, let's go!"

"Coming Grover!"
