The Color of Your Eyes (Heterochromia AU):
Blue. Pure, intense cobalt with a vague viridian hue spread throughout the iridescence, deep as a sunlit ocean, with a gentle aura of lemon around the edge that lit up the entire surface like a ring of unearthly fire.
Dan was sure that this eye belonged to his soulmate.
Phil stared at the mirror again, focusing his attention on the warm chocolate tone of his left eye, the flecks of gold hidden in the iris, the soft highlights dancing around the edge, and the way the overall palette almost masked the pupil, but not quite.
Although he couldn't figure out which color belonged to him, he hoped that this one was his soulmate's- then he could see them more often.
