What's up, my peeps! As most of you know, tomorrow is Valentine's Day, so, I wanted to something cute and Kataangy for you guys! This one is just fluff and cute, with some emotion integrated into it. It's basically Aang telling Katara about what happened at the Eastern Air Temple with the guru... yada, yada, yada. If feel like sometimes Katara forgets how much she means to Aang, so here's a reminder :) Also, this takes place around four months after the war.

Disclaimer: Sadly, I don't own ATLA.

Enjoy

"It's really been a long time since I've been here," Aang realized as he knelt to the ground wiping the dust off the ground of the Eastern Air Temple.

"Well... aren't you from the Southern Air Temple?" Katara asked.

Aang stood up and smiled at his girlfriend. "Yeah, but... once and awhile we would visit the other air temples."

Katara walked over to him and laced his fingers with hers. "But weren't you here recently? When you went to see the guru?" Katara wondered as she looked at him.

Aang nodded, and Katara noticed that his mood suddenly changed. She squeezed his hand. "Are you alright?" Katara asked concerned.

Aang blinked a couple times, shook his head, and grinned slightly. "Yeah, I'm fine." The sun started to set down the horizon. Aang noticed this, and sighed. "We should get to bed."

Katara frowned, then nodded. "You're right. Goodnight, Aang." Katara pecked his cheek and walked to her room.

Aang looked down at dusty floor.

"Goodnight, Katara."

Dream

"How could you let me go, Aang?!" Tears spilled down Katara's cheeks.

"I didn't... I..." Aang started to feel tears forming in his eyes as well.

"Yes you did! I... I can't! All you do is think about yourself and you precious Avatar duties! I've been there for you for all this time, and all you care about is this! I never want to see you again!" Katara was now sobbing and turned away from Aang. She started to run away.

"Katara! No!" Aang reached out for her, but she became farther and farther.

Katara stopped for a moment to look at him with her hopeless face. "Goodbye, Aang."

"Katara! Katara, stop! I... I love you!" Aang fell to the ground on his knees, tears splashing onto the floor beneath him.

The floor slowly started to crack, and Aang fell into the bottomless abyss.

End of Dream

Aang shot up from his bed, and touched his face to feel his wet cheeks. He shook his head, and got up from where he was sleeping to the balcony outside of his room. The tears continued to flow, and fell to the ground, twenty feet below. He continued to sob, until he felt a soft hand on his shoulder. Aang turned to see Katara with a very worried look on her face.

Katara now was even more worried when she saw how broken and upset Aang was.

"Oh, Aang... what... what happened? Are you alright?"

Aang shook his head. He wiped his eyes with the heel of his hand. "K-Katara, I... I had a nightmare, t-that I-I-"

Katara cupped his face, and wiped his tears with her thumb. "Shhh... It's okay, I'm here."

Aang nodded and hugged Katara, she pecked his cheek again before returning the embrace.

After a couple minutes of them, Katara pulled away from him, and held his hand. She pulled him away from the balcony, and down to the gardens beneath them. They sat on the floor, and Katara decided to ask him about his dream.

"Can you tell me what happened in your nightmare?" she asked softly.

Aang breathed in, and out, and looked at Katara in front of him. "It's about what happened with the guru."

"But, wasn't that a good thing?"

"It was at the beginning, but things started to go wrong."

"How?"

"Well, you know how I went there to master the Avatar State?"

"Yeah?"

Aang sniffed. "What I had to do was, unlock the chakras. Chakras are sort of... swirling pools of energy in our bodies. I needed to unlock all seven chakras in order to control the Avatar State."

"Well that doesn't seem that bad to me."

"And at the beginning it wasn't. One thing I remember was when I had to unlock the Air Chakra. Basically, the love I had for the Air Nomads, was..." Aang slightly blushed and looked at Katara. "It was reborn... into my love for you..."

Katara smiled and leaned her forehead against Aang's. She sighed. "I love you, Aang."

Aang's tears finally stopped and he smiled for once. "I love you, too."

She turned so she was sitting next to him, and lay her head on Aang's shoulder. "So, what happened next?"

"When it came up to the last chakra, it was about earthly attachment. And i-it was you, Katara... who made feel attachment to the world. But the guru told me to let you go, so I could master the Avatar State."

Katara blushed, and linked her fingers with his. "And did you?"

"I tried, but I got a vision where you were in trouble, and left to go save you."

"So what happened in your dream that was from that?"

"I think I told you that I let you go, and you started to yell at me, a-and tell me that I was being selfish and choosing my Avatar duties after you. Then... then you left me..."

Katara lifted her head from his shoulder, and looked into his sad grey eyes. "Aang... I-I would never leave you. You know how much I love you, and I hope you know that I never, ever, think you're selfish o-or think that I were more important than the world. Because that's completely wrong."

"I know... it just, seemed so real to me."

"It's not though, besides... we've been through to much for me to leave you for anything. Even if I was horrible and selfish. I care about you too much to do anything like that."

Aang faintly smiled at her. "Yeah, I'm glad."

Katara took one of her hands, and held Aang's cheek. She kissed him softly, then kissed the blue arrow on his forehead. "I love you so much, Aang. And I want to you to know that I would never leave you."

Aang closed his eyes and hugged Katara. "I love you so much too, Katara. Thanks for always being there for me."

Katara hugged him back, and pecked his cheek one more time. "No problem."
