Passing through the fire made my blood pump faster. It made my heart pound. I've always been so calm and collected. Never have I felt any emotion so raw and joyful as this rush of adrenalin. It was because I knew. That I controlled him. That he would follow. He was my puppet.

But he didn't know. And I wouldn't let him. Try as I might, though, I just couldn't contain a sly smirk of satisfaction before I turned and faded into the flames. Maybe that would only power his hate on more? My grin became wider as I walked up through the mountain pass. He will be the first of many. The many that I will control.

But still, he did not know. Truely, the flames are all that know me. They are all that I reveal myself to because I understand them. They're brought into existance to destroy and benifit its users. But we can devour those who use us just as quick. The ignorant who think they are in power over us. How little they really know! It's all a matter of what we allow, knowing we could take their lives, even the world if we so desire. We the powerful, the sword and the flame...

I believe it's time to show them who really has the upper hand. Time to show the whole world what I could do for them. Time to destroy and rebuild this petty world that relies on the souls of the dead to run the lives of the living.

Come mother, we are to be as Gods.
