A new beast was recently discovered. It was said to have a long tongue for grabbing on to people and eating them alive. It was said to have to teeth but a body like a snake. But nick wasn't afraid of, he wanted to kill it and prove he was strong. As he left to kill this beast he was prepared. He ran nto the forest where it was seen and looked around. He saw vines everywhere but no beast in sight. But in the corner of his eyes he could see something snaking around a tree. His eyes watched it as slithered into the dark, as soon as he couldn't see it he grabbed his bow ready for the creature. While he scanned the area saliva dripped down on his forehead. As he looked up a long tongue shot out at him grabbing him and lifting him off the ground bringing him to its mouth, its jaw opened ready for him. Nick quickly grabbed his bow shooting the creature in the head. The arrow went straight threw its head killing it. Nick fell on back. He got up looking at the dead body. Green blood oozed out of its head. Nick smirked at it. "Heh u thought " he said to the dead body. But before he could turn around 7 more of the creatures came out all staring at him, there eyes watching his every movement. Nick got a shiver up his spine as he could feel hot breathing on the back of his neck. He didn't want to turn around, his breathing quickened as he ran to try to escape but tongues grabbed ahold of him legs and arms. A huge creature bigger than all the rest started to slither towards him. Nick struggled to break the grip of the snakes. But it was no use, the huge snake stopped in front of nick its eyes glowing a green. Its mouth opened as nick could see its long tongue and could smell the rotten smelling breath of the beast. Two fangs came poked out. Nick: stared at them for a moment then the beast bit down on nick's arm. The tongues released him as pain struck through his body. And then everything got blurry, he felt dizzy and light headed as he passed out on the ground.
He woke up in a pit of the snake like creatures, the bite was swollen and it still hurt. " your awake human..." a dark and low voice called out from behind him. The creature that bit him was staring at nick. Nicks breathing was fast. " you will be a vessel for our king" the creature said. " w-what" nick said confused. " start the ritual" the creature said as the others grabbed nick with there tongues holding him down. The huge creature slithered towards nick as now green saliva gripped down his mouth. " w-what are you going to do?!" Nick yelled. But as he yelled the creatures tongue shot into his mouth as saliva went down his throat. Nick started to choke as more saliva entered his mouth. The creatures tongue left his mouth as nick was released again. Nick gasped for air as the creature grabbed him dragging him the darkness.
