Clarification Notes
This fanfic is written based on the setting of Witch Hunter Robin. But Micasa is a character that doesn't exist in the anime. It's just a character I created purely for this fiction. If you haven't seen this anime, I would just like to inform you that STNJ is a body that catches witches.
Another thing is this is my first time writing a story that is out of my style. Do comment on it.

Micasa curled up into a ball in the corner of the dirty wardrobe in the background of heavy scurrying foot steps. Her teeth sank deeply into her index finger with her eyeballs moving wildly behind the lids.
The words 'You said you love me' kept playing in her head as she rocked herself against the weather bitten wood as if a mother lulling a crying baby to sleep. "You said you love me."
She could hear a deep male voice giving orders to his underlings and they fastened their pace. The loud bang of STNJ reloading their guns frightened her, which sent her flattening her ears onto the wood.
"You said you love me."
I am scarred. This time she allowed the reservoir of tears to spill over her pallid, hollow and bruised cheeks.
"You said you love me."
It hurts. It hurts!!!! Her heart screamed with profound hurt, freezing every nerve in her body system. Her right hand immediately extended to the floor to support her shrugging cat-positioned body, while the other hand clutched her worn and soiled purple polka top, where her heart is located.
"You said you love me."
Her wheeze betrayed her.
The foot steps halted abruptly
Uh oh.
The wooden wardrobe fell apart into several pieces in a blink of an eye with one flying kick.
Micasa rolled out from the wardrobe with full surprise. Legs and hands sprawled lazily on the dirt with her face down.
"You said you love me."
Why is this happening?
"Don't move," ordered one of the STNJ officers brusquely. "Put your hands on your head … Raise yourself."
Micasa obeyed obediently and stood up slowly not to alert the officers to fire. Her swollen puffy eyes looked at the STNJ crew with excruciating sadness but received no response from the cold stares of several guns.
"You are under arrest for …."
"YOU SAID YOU LOVED ME!!!!!!!!!!" screamed Micasa top of her lungs in the middle of the sentence as she clasped her sweaty palms to the temples. Her head shook violently.
"Don't firrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeee……!!!!!!!!"
"YOU SAID YOU LOVED ME!!!!!!"
She ignored the world and let herself drowned in the pool of sorrow and pain.
The STNJ crew paid no heed to the order and they vanished mysteriously into thin air in a domino manner when the sky was emblazoned with thousands of red shooting stars.
"YOU SAID YOU LOVE ME!!!" Micasa roared.
With silvery stars and moons spinning around her head, she fell to the ground with absolute lethargy, slipping into a tranquil sleep …
