I keep the

Real Me

Hidden inside.

I play the role,

Go along with

The flow,

Behave as others

Expect that I

Should behave.

I play the

Innocent.

I care for

Raoul, but

My heart is

With the Phantom.

Respect and

Friendship I

Outwardly display.

My affection

For Raoul

Pales when I

Reveal the secrets

Hidden inside.

Burning desire and

Fiery passion

I feel for

My Phantom.

The music possesses

Me, embraces me.

He is my soulmate.

My true self

I must deny.

My true feelings

I must hide.
