I see the sky weeping with crimson tears
I want to know the true beauty of a person
I pretend to live a lie
I feel only the coldness of your heart

I touch the end of time
I worry too much of others, besides my self
I dream of happiness, but see non
I understand no one and nothing
I am a small girl in a small world

I try to see the world in a grain of sand
I hope everyone has a dream
I wonder what people do at every second of every day
I cry a thousand tears
I am but a small girl in a small world

Author's note: This is my first Pretear fic (poem), and I have no idea how good it is. I actually wrote this poem a while ago and just recently found it on my computer. After re-reading (and revising), I noticed that this fit Himeno's personality quite well. Isn't it funny, you can write something a long time ago and it can relate to something in the here and now. Try it, read something you wrote months, or even years, ago and see if you can compare it to something in your life now.
