"Can I tell you something?" Jim's voice was just slightly louder than a whisper in the darkness of the bedroom.

"Is it a secret?" Pam asked him, her voice playful.

"Sort of."

"Then, of course you can tell me." Pam laughed.

Jim pressed his lips against her ear and she snuggled into his arms. "I adore you," he whispered quietly. The seriousness and love in his voice gave her chills.

"I adore you, too," she told him, once she had found her voice.

"That's a relief," Jim said, jokingly.

"Oh, I'm so sure." Pam turned to him, trying to find his eyes in the darkness.

"I'm glad that you're so confident about what you think. That's a good quality." Jim laughed aloud and pressed his forehead against her cheek.

"I'm glad that you think so."

"Really?"
"Of course."

"Aw. That's so sweet. Do you like it when I compliment you?"

"Of course, when you do compliment me."

"Excuse me, Beesley, but, are you complaining?"

"Yes. I am."

"Wow. That's surprising."

"It's not that strange, Halpert."

"Is that so?"

"Yes. It is so."

Jim chuckled and kissed her forehead. Pam laughed and turned her head, pressing her lips against his lightly. He could feel her smiling against his lips, and he pressed himself into her. It was nights like these that made him forget everything except Pamela Beesley and Jim Halpert and their passionate love that had brought them together.

Sorry if that was cheesy. I do hoped you like it. I thought of it as I was watching Stranger Than Fiction this evening.

That movie gets credit for the first part of this story. It's a conversation between Harold and Ana in that movie. I thought it was adorable, and since I am practically obsessing with Jam lately, I decided to turn it into another very short one-shot featuring everyone's favorite television couple.

Please, leave a review. It would be greatly appreciated.
