Before the Summit
Daniel had agreed.
The irony of the situation isn't lost on me. It leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.
Daniel Jackson was going on a mission to kill; my good, kind friend.
Who hated killing.
I trained him to well, thinking to protect him. It gave him the confidence to try infiltrating the system lords' private meeting and to poison the hosts.
Just like my Black Ops days, if I'd spoken goa'uld.
Just like an assassin; like an Ashrax.
I couldn't stop Danny; couldn't stop Charlie.
So I did what I could.
I turned away, again.
