It was the beginning of Winter in Burgess and in her home, Kit was with her young daughter who was born of Guardian blood despite the fact Kit's husband being human, but North said it was okay meaning Haru was half Guardian by birth like Kit and her mother only Kit was worried because Pitch, the Nightmare King would try to either attack Haru or try to make her his Darkling princess.
Haru looked like her father with shoulder length jet black brown hair but had her mother's eyes but being a Guardian of Chikdhood's child and nearly thirteen, Haru was curious since she saw and hung out with her uncles and aunt but the pre-teen was experiencing changes in her, and unaware her Guardian powers were kicking in.
Kit had never hidden the fact she was a Guardian or hidden the magical world she was a part of from Haru but warned her about Pitch and his nightmares and it made Haru want to be a Guardian more so.
"I just have to find my centre, that's all like Uncle Jack.
If he can do it, then I can.
"Haru, you okay, imagining about being a Guardian?" Kit asked.
Haru wondered how her Mom did that, or if it was her guardian powers.
Kit sighed as she saw the windows frost over, seeing Jack there as Haru giggled at her fun loving uncle.
"You were visiting Jamie, huh Uncle Jack?" Haru told him.
"Yeah, his Mom went out for the night plus the sitter was doing homework so Jamie and I had some outside fun plus the Easter Joey was with Sophie along with Bunnymund.
North doesn't know that Sandy and Tooth have kids they're friends with since he wouldn't understand."Jack told them.
Kit hoped that Pitch didn't know or he could use this against them but Haru knew that her other uncle and aunt were careful, along with her Phooka cousin Venus.
Kit agreed but had to go on patrol so Haru wanted to have some fun so was causing mischief with Jack.
