A/N: Unfortunately I am still suffering a block on "One Giant Leap", so here is a drabble that has been entertaining me while I prod my grey matter.
"What is this?" Commander Adama demanded.
The shiny disc that the Terrans had freighted when they heard the Colonials' plight was not exactly impressive.
"It carries a program, sir – an operating system in fact," Lieutenant Gaeta explained patiently. "They call it 'XP'."
"Our lost brothers, who have little or no knowledge of Cylon technology, believe that this 'ex-pea' is the weapon of mass destruction that we have been looking for?"
Gaeta flushed under the stern gaze of his CO. "Yessir. They also gave me this to consolidate the complete corruption of all Cylon systems."
"And that is…?"
"'Service Pack 2.'"
