You had gotten a new game from an old man at a yard sale. It was a great deal. $2.00 for the Majora's Mask game. Who wouldn't get that? By the time you got home you had become anxious. Putting in the game you played.
The save file was basically almost done. It's name was "BEN". The previous owner had gotten all the masks and 3/4 of the bosses had been defeated. It was on day 3 and by stone tower temple with about one hour till the moon would crash and destroy everything and what-not.
It was a shame that they didn't finish it.
You started a new file and named it "Zelda" purely because of the irony of the game being named "Legend of Zelda" when everyone thought it should have been "Legend of Link".
It ran smoothly despite the battered up cartridge.
At times the NPC would call you Zelda, but at other times they would call you Ben. You had beaten the woodfall temple and decided to delete the BEN file. Like you needed two files anyways. The NPC's wouldn't call you anything. Not Zelda or BEN.
You did three simple things. So simple...
You worked on getting the lense of Truth and worked on beating the snow head temple.
You tried to do the 4th day glitch. You got it on the first try.
You pressed B and you were in the Majora's Boss fight room that was near the end of the game, staring at Skull Kid. He was floating.
*(This part gets different)*
He grinned. He was grinning at you. The dialogue box appeared and Skull Kid lowered himself to stand on the ground. He made a bowing animation. "Such a lovely girl you are." You dropped the game and backed away. Your computer flicked on and "CleverBot" was open on a Google Chrome window. You sit yourself at the computer chair and look at the screen.
CleverBot: Hello.
The "I" beam starts blinking in the typing space.
You: Hi.
CleverBot: Why did you stop?
You: Stop what?
CleverBot: Playing my game. Why did you stop?
You: You can s-see me?
CleverBot: All too well.
A shiver went down your spine. How did he know you? Who was he?
You: Who the hell are you?!
CleverBot: BEN.
You thought about the file you deleted. BEN...
You: From Majora's Mask?
CleverBot: Who else?
You: Who are you?
CleverBot: I told you.
You: No, who are you really?
CleverBot: BEN Drowned.
You: Drowned?
CleverBot: Yes. Drown with me _.
You tensed seeing your name on the screen. "No, it's not possible" you thought. You screamed as a hand came onto your shoulder and turned your chair around. But instead of a killer, it was your older brother Keith. The screen flicked off and the window was gone.
"Are you alright?" He seemed concerned yet on the verge of laughter from your surprised look. You nodded and rubbed your eyes.
Maybe you just needed some sleep.
