Harry felt like his head was going to explode. The only thing that he remembered was fighting with Malfoy in the potions closet. One of the ingredients had fallen and was hit with a spell. Harry laid there waiting for his head to calm down enough to sit up. As he was waiting he spread his senses out around him, trying to figure out where he was. The sun beat down on his face. the grass under him felt really soft. He heard no cars or people, just leaves rustling overhead. He was surprised by this, but what surprised him more was how alive the earth felt when he sent his magic out. Most of the time, magic felt like it was dying to him, but here it felt like it was thriving!
When he final opened his eyes, he found himself in a place that would not look to out of place in a Dinosaur movie. When he got up to look around, he found an egg the size of a football. It looked like it had been dug up. He picked it up and felt something move inside of it. Harry was wondering where he should go, when the ground began to rumble under his feet. He lended against one of the trees around him, and sent his magic out, trying to find out what was going on. His magic brushed against a life force that was much bigger than anything that he had felt before, except the dragon from the tri-wizard torment. He called his magic back to him and cast a notice-me-not shield around himself, when he felt the presence take an interest in him. He almost lost the shield when the presence came into view. It was a fecking T-rex! He was really glad that notice-me-not shields suppressed the heat signatures of the thing it was hiding. He was also glad that after training with Moony, that he automatically cast a scent-suppressor when he cast the notice-me-not.
When the T-rex passed on, he went to opposite direction to try and find some place to hide as he figured out how he ended up in time of the Dinosaur.
Harry had a fire going and some meat on a spit in one of the cave complexes that he found, when the weird egg that he found began to hatch. He kept his wand in his hand as he watched it hatch, prepared to kill the animal if he had to. What came out looked like a Chinese dragon. The scales were forest green and the barbs, like that on a catfish, on the mouth darkened into an almost-black. Its eyes were like looking into a mirror, an emerald that matched Harry's own.
The Dragon came Harry, hissing. Harry was surprised that he could understand it.
§Hungary. Want Food.§ The Dragon pawed at Harry's lap. Harry went for some of the raw meat that he still had after he had butchered the animal. He didn't know what animal he had killed, but it was edible, atleast he hoped it was. He feed the Dragon some of the leftover tidbits. The Dragon seemed to like the meat. As it was eating, Harry went to go check on his own food. He found that it was done and took it off the heat. He watched the Dragon as he ate. The Dragon had curled up next to the fire after it had finished its food. Harry wasn't sure about where or when he was, but he know that he was going to have to make the most of what he was given, and that he was going to have to find a way home.
Harry's eyes began to durp, so he curled up on the other side of the fire. The last thing he saw was the Dragon slepply blink its eyes at him.
