In the guard office several monitors showed the prisoner cells. If there was sound Sam Winchester knew he and his brother would be hearing screaming as the inmates roasted alive from the oven temperature heat that was coming from the cell lights. The office was dark, as was the rest of the prison except for the cells. It had been that way since Sam was kidnapped from his apartment by a demon and used to open the devils gate.

Sam stood at the back of the room as all the monitors changed to see only one prisoner. The man's skin was beginning to bubble and melt. It was this man that made it easy for Sam to accept what he had to do. He killed everyone that showed up at that town just to make sure her could make his father suffer. Still Sam felt his Fathers death would not make up for the years of neglect and abuse. It would not make up for his brother's murder. Azazel did what he promised he would do. Dean sat in front of the monitors not really paying attention to what was happening on them. His lifeless Hazel eyes just stayed at the dead prison guard that was spread out in the chair next to the one he sat in. He still looked like the nineteen-year-old kid who was beaten to death saving Sam from having that fate. The bruises and wounds were gone, but the haunted look in his eyes said he still remembered. His own death and possibly what had happened to him afterwards.

Sam stepped up behind him and placed a hand on Dean's shoulder. "He will be dead soon."

"Just end it quickly." Dean looked over his shoulder at his twenty-four year old younger, older brother. "He was drunk all those times he did those things to us. He's better now. If you continue to torture him like this your just as bad as he was."

Sam thought it over for a second than shrugged. "He made me the way I am. Just another consequence of his actions."

Dean turned the dead cop's body to face them. "He didn't do anything to you or anyone else. Why did you have to kill him?"

"They're all going to die. Those who don't will be possessed. You're the only one that will remain human."

Dean grabbed the cop's gun and pointed it at his brother's head. He pulled the trigger. The prison went dark the moment Sam's brain exploded out the back of his head.
