It was a few weeks since Josh had become Metal Sonic. He had made all new friends. A kid named Sam had become his best friend. Even the former school bully Butch had changed and become a friend of Josh. Butch had always wanted to be stronger, to have more energy, Metal had told him about Dream. Inc and what they had did for him. Butch had recently sent a letter saying he wanted more energy. Disaster struck when a week before he got the special power. His mom was killed. She was going out when someone killed her. The police believed it was Max her former boyfriend the guy who beat on Butch. Butch had moved into Metal's place. "Look dude. The police will find who's responsible," Metal reassured him. Butch didn't care. He needed that power to find Max and bring him to justice himself. When it finally came it was just a yellow cap with prongs. Butch put it on and felt weird. He was getting shorter, his hands were losing fingers, all of him changed, his hair went yellow, and he grew black and yellow fur over his body. It was painful for him but when it was done he looked up. Metal was standing over him. "Metal!" Butch said. "Butch! Wow. When you said you wanted more energy you weren't kidding," Metal said helping Butch up. He looked in the mirror and noticed that he had become a fictional creature known as a pokemon. He was an Elekid. Oh my god. What have I done? He thought. But suddenly he felt weak, what was wrong? Then something urged him on. Butch started to spin his arms around and he felt stronger, more powerful. "I think I know how Dream. Inc gave me more power Metal," He said. Butch then ran out with his arms still spinning, he was going to find Max. He knew it was him. Little did he know that Max was under his nose a few moments ago. Max had entered Metal's house with a gun ready. "Get ready ya stupid machine," He said. Metal turned around and was shot. Metal got back up. "What was that for?" He asked. "You are the one responsible for me being dumped!" Max told him. "What?" Metal said shocked. "I know you're the one responsible for that video!" Max said. "So what? You were beating on Butch for no good reason!" Metal replied getting up. "Yeah. But I loved it. It felt so good. I could beat on him and his mom wouldn't know. Eventually after I was dumped. I killed her. But you won't be able to give that to the police," Max laughed. Little did he know that Butch had just come back in during the speech. "You'll pay!" He said. Butch ran up with his arms spinning. "Aw. Is the little creature mad that I killed his mommy? Don't be! You'll be joining her!" Max said raising the gun. But Metal beat him and slashed at his arm. Max cried out in pain, until Butch came up and delivered a powerful electric shock to him. Max fell over unconscious. "Thanks for stopping him from shooting me," Butch said to Metal. "No problem Elec," Metal replied. "Elec. I like that. that will be my new name," Butch said. The police eventually came and arrested Max. "So Elec. You had the chance to kill the man you hated. But instead you just stunned him and let the police take him. Why?" Metal asked. "I did it because my mom would have wanted it. She wouldn't want me to be a killer," Elec answered. Metal would have smiled. Eventually the people at school found out about Elec's new body. And they didn't care. They found it cool and some girls found him cute. Elec was getting used to it. Even he got a letter later.
"Dear Butch. Like your friend Josh, There is no way to reverse what has happened to you. But we hope you will like your new body with all it's new power. We have many new products and soon dream world will be ready. We hope you will enjoy it and your friends like it.
From the Folks at Dream. Inc," Was what it said. Elec smiled, then frowned. What was Dream World? Was Dream Inc planning something good? Or something evil? Only time will tell.
