I'll Stand By You
This takes place after Blitz.

Summer's POV
Dillon just found out that the attack bot we fought today activated a regeneration code into his arm implant. There is nothing we can do to help him, not even Dr. K. only I and Dr. K know about Dillon's dilemma and I'm sure that right now Dillon doesn't want to tell the guys about it just yet. He's been staring at his hand for what seems like forever and he has yet to say a word. I decided to try and talk to him so he could get out his feelings and let him voice his opinion.
"Dillon." I whispered standing beside him. There was no response, not even the turn of his head.
"Dillon babe." I said it a little louder this time and there was still no reply.
I grasped his hand and held it gently. His gaze shifted from his hand to my face.
"Dillon." I said softly. "I love you, no matter what happens." I let go of his hand and wrapped my arms around his neck. I hugged him gently as if he were fragile.
"I love you too." Dillon replied softly. I sat down on the chair directly in front of him. He still had one leg dropped over the side and the other still sitting on the chair. I sat directly between his legs and he picked up both of my hands in his.
"I don't know what's happening to me. I don't know why it always happens to me." Dillon said softly.
"Babe, you're not the only one who has bad things happen to them. We all have our ups and downs." I told him.
"Yeah but no one else has Venjix technology inside their body." Dillon replied angrily.
"Dillon, you know I'm just trying to help. I honestly don't know what I would do without you. I can't bare to think about what's happening to you because I can't let you go." I told him as my eyes slowly started to water.
"I know that Summer, I don't know what I would do if I lost you. I have already lost someone special to me and I can't handle losing another." Dillon replied as he let go of my hand and started to wipe the tears that started streaking down my cheek.
"I love you so much more than you will ever know Summer." Dillon told me as he gave me a sweet but passionate kiss.
I leaned forward and laid my head on his right shoulder. I couldn't believe that I was facing the possibility of losing him. He was the only person that I had truly loved. I cried for what seemed like forever just sitting there, curled up in his arms. No words needed to be said at the moment, all we needed were each other. I finally dried up the tears and looked up at him. I refused to let him go when he tried to move from under me.
"Summer, can you promise me one thing?" Dillon asked me.
"Sure, babe." I replied.
"Promise me baby, that no matter what, you will stand by me and be there when I need you the most." Dillon pleaded.
"I promise to stand by you Dillon… forever." I replied smiling up at him before kissing him as a token of my promise.
