Every little tiny grand of sand, leads to another world, another place, somewhere, That girl, with long red hair, has been waiting for them to come home. she remembered that spiky brown haired boy with the huge yellow shoes she loved, though sometimes she couldn't remember his name then his face leading to a lost blank memory of white, then the other boy, he was older and much taller, he would often compete with the boy she couldn't remember, they would play together on the islands and look up at the twinkling stars and fluffy clouds blanketing the night sky, talking of going to other worlds and whats really out there, autumn to winter, spring to summer, she would look across the vast depths of the sparkling ocean to see if anything was there heading above shore, everyday afterschool she would talk to the boy she couldn't remember, telling him about the things that are going on with school and some of the passing years, she could sometimes hear the boy talking back to her. all she could say they would be together soon, no matter what the cost was, "He" made a promise, along time ago, to keep her lucky charm.
a few years ago, when Kairi was just about fourteen years old, her hair was much shorter, like in a bob almost, she curled up next to the window laying on her bed filled with stuffed animals which looked like the king, Pluto, Goofy, Donald, and the "him". that plushie he gave to her so long ago, she smiled, tears falling like raindrops staining her pillow, she laid one cheek on the left side of her pillow, putting her tiny frail hands under it closing her eyes, whispering promise me you'll come back, she would keep trying to remember them as little kids, but all she could see was the black partacles and tiny little specs of colors flow throught her closed eyelids.
