Mass Effect 2: Purgatory

---

The inmate shuffled around, trying to find a comfortable position on the hard, metallic bench. Inside the blast shielded, biotic resistant exo-glass cell that he sat in, there was no comfort. And He had been in here for a long time. A very long time. Such contrivances were hardly attainable within this environment.

The maximum-security starship located codenamed Purgatory was located in the Simak Cluster and was hardly well put together. Aside from the leaking ceilings, open vents and bad tempered security guards, the prisoner was quite content with his surroundings. If he wasn't here, he would be somewhere in the galaxy, using his "Unstable" biotic powers on some innocent planet. At least, that is what the doctors and scientist said would happen.

A small smile pulled at his lips.

He knew better though. Despite the Mexian-titanium restraints that he wore and the complexity of the cell, he knew he could burst through with a single train of thought, kill everyone in the facility with a flick of the wrist and escape to cause even more damage.

But, where would the fun be in that?

He looked out of his cell, obtaining the same view he had seen day after day. The dull, grey walls, sentry turrets fixed on his door and Frank, the ill-tempered guard glowering towards his direction. Although, he did feel a bit tired of the same location, it did have its advantages. For one, he could relax and actually get some sleep, although his "crazy" spells were getting worse. Plus, there was no more screaming and running. It was quiet here.

The cell he was sitting in was not his own, though. The techies were performing their daily checking of his higher security room. They wanted to make sure the room was still perfect for the most dangerous biotic in the universe. He couldn't blame them. With so many deaths caused by him, he was surprised they hadn't killed him yet. And it's not like the killing stopped there.

A bigger smile spread across his lips.

The other day inside the cafeteria, a new Krogan prisoner tried to take his daily bread by force. The victim calmly summoned his biotics, and squeezed the bigger alien's head like a small grape.

This memory caused a big grin to spread across his face. Maybe he would get out soon so he could have some more fun. But, in the meantime, he would stay here and wait. Something told him that his patience would not be in vain.

A single name kept popping into his head like a beacon. Like a single reminder of something to come.

Shepard.

Yes. He would wait for this Shepard.

Hey guys. I just wanted to write something quick and sweet. For those who are following the game, Mass Effect 2, your mission is to recruit killers, assassins and dangerous people for one suicide mission. I can tell you now that this Purgatory is a real place, will take place in the game, and this prisoner will actually join your group in the game. Although, I am just putting what personality I think he will have, I know that he will be in the game. :) Hope you liked it though! Tell me if you would recruit this guy into your team if you get the game.
