"Doctor Knowles, may I ask you something?" Tara looked up from the chart she was looking over. The man who was speaking was maybe about the same as age as she and Jax. She has never really spoken to this man before more than professionally. He had been at Saint Thomas a few years less than she had.

"Of course, Doctor Roberts," she gestured for him to continue.

"Ugh, we may want to do this in private," he offered, extending his arm out in a manner that suggested they move to a more secluded area.

"Okay.." she trailed off but followed his lead, her hand running quickly over the swell of her belly.

Once they were a bit more secluded, "How may I help you?"

"I've heard some things that suggest you're married to a man who has dealings with adult entertainment world," Doctor Roberts said, his face turning a couple different shades of red in embarrassment.

"I don't see how that's any of your business," Tara stated defensively.

"Oh, oh. You're right it's not," his hand ran across his forehead in anxiousness, "that's not what I meant…"

"What did you mean then?"

"I ugh, I have a buddy who is getting married," he started again, "and I wondered if there was any way I could speak to your husband about making his bachelor party a bit more entertaining."

"Dr. Roberts, my husband is not a pimp…." Tara said through gritted teeth, her forehead knitting together in anger.

"Of course, I wasn't suggesting…"

"This conversation is over then," she stated, turned on her heel and made her way towards her office.

Several hours later

Tara pulled into the Teller-Morrow parking lot, put the SUV into park, helped the kids get out of their seats and watched them run off to the playground. Sighing, she took her bags out of the back of the SUV, slung them over her shoulder and made her way into the clubhouse, her hand on her swollen belly, waddling a little bit from the pressure on her swollen ankles.

"Eh Doc! Lookin' good darlin'," Chibbs winked at her as she wobbled past the billiards table he was beating one of the newest prospects on.

Without even looking in his direction, she pulled her arm up, her hand out and stuck her middle finger up at him, "See Jackie! She does love meh!"

She lifted the corner of her cheek up in a sly grin, and kept walking towards Jax. She heard a mumbled, 'Evenin' ma'am' from the meek prospect.

"Hey babe," Jax greeted from one of the few tables that littered the clubhouse floor. Standing he pulled a chair out for her, walked to meet her halfway, took her hand and guided her to the table. After helping her sit, he kissed her lips, then leaned down and kissed her belly, "Hey princess. Not being nice to mommy today?" he spoke to his unborn daughter.

Smiling down at him, she ran a hand through his hair and pulled him up for another kiss on the lips. "No, she was a good girl, just same old swollen ankles and constantly peeing."

"Good," he smiled at her, before picking her feet up off the floor, pulling her shoes off and massaging the arches, "How'd work go?"

"Had someone ask about you today," she looked up at him.

"Nothing new there," he replied a smirk crossing his face. He knew she was always being asked questions about him and the MC.

"Actually this one was new," she said, letting her head fall back in relaxation.

"oh yeah?" he looked up at her with his brow furrowed.

"He asked about girls for a bachelor party," she sighed out, his hands working magic on her feet.

Jax stopped what he was doing, and looked up at her, "seriously?"

AN: This may be an odd piece, but I just felt I had to post something after this last weeks episode. This is something I've had in my 'maybe' folder for awhile, but I needed something. It may even become part of NRM in a few chapters, I'm not sure. I do hope you enjoy what this is though.
