Rose Hathaway is out to find her love, Dimitri Belikov, and save him from becoming a monster. Dimitri had been changed by a blond Strigoi when the Guardians at St. Vladimir's School led a rescue mission after a large Strigoi attack. Life was never the same for Rose after he had been changed and so she left on a mission to fulfill a promise she made to him.
