"Che! Where is he?" Romano thought as he waited outside his and Spain's shared home. He was supposed to be out with Feliciano right about now and his brother was yet to show. He banged on the door of the house. "Oi Spain, have you reached Veneziano yet?"
Antonio stuck his head out the door. "Not yet Roma. Why don't you go over there and see what's up? It's only to the North."
"Che Palle! I know where my brother lives!"
Antonio smiled as he watched Romano's retreating figure. He hadn't even called the other Vargas; Roma would be upset if he found out. He walked calmly into the house and shut the door.
Romano, on the other hand, stormed angrily to the North of the country and mumbled Italian curse words under his baited breath.
He finally reached the home of his brother and pounded the door waiting for his happy-go lucky-brother to answer the door.
No answer came.
He pounded again and again; it wasn't siesta time so Feliciano shouldn't be asleep now. Romano growled and made his way to the back of the house. He was about to storm through the back door when he saw a lone figure sitting near the edge of a cliff. Coming closer he realized it was Feliciano.
"Veneziano!" Romano barked as he moved closer. He expected Feliciano to jump up and beg for his brother's forgiveness forgetting about today. But Feliciano did nothing. Romano sat down and bumped his brother's arm. Feliciano looked over and then returned to staring at the sea, a tear running down his cheek. Ah, the German was yet to return to Feliciano. Romano gritted his teeth for what he would do next.
He bumped his brother's arm again and when Feliciano looked over Romano placed his index fingers on the corner of his mouth and raised them up while sticking out his tongue making a funny noise in the process. His eyes crossed and his eyebrows raised but he failed to make his brother even smile. He just sat there with a sad look in his eyes.
Romano nearly wept at his next and last trick. He pushed himself up to his knees and pulled Feliciano to look at him. When he finally looked Romano closed his eyes and held his hands together and while pulling them apart saying. "Fusososososos~! Fusosososos~!"
Feliciano stared at his brother and laughed at his antics and attempts to cheer him up. He jumped on his brother causing both of them to fall back onto the grass. Romano smiled. "Cheer up Fratello, he will be back but in the meantime I'm right here."
