CHAPTER ONE

DAY ONE, MONDAY

Rouge the Bat, Blaze the Cat, Tikal the Echidna and Amy Rose the Hedgehog.

Those four girls were new to Union Hills.

No one had ever seen them before around here, they were new. They used to live together in two different apartments in another city. Amy shared her room with Rouge, Blaze shared hers with Tikal.

After a fire ruined the whole building, the four girls had to move. They ended up in Station Square, new school, new friends, new oppurtunities.

Rouge was overly exited, Amy was a little stressed, Blaze was really calm and Tikal a little nervous.

Rouge was someone who loved having all the guys swoon over her. She loved expensive clothes, jewelry and big partys. She liked having many guys at the same time, but she wasn't into sincere relationships. She said she's too young to settle down. On the other hand she was a really good friend, a good listener and always had good advice. Amy was her best friend and if anyone ever said a bad word about her they'd see Rouge going into a beast mode. She was very protective over her friends.

Blaze was a beautiful, mature cat. She was always calm and took every situation with ease. She's had a few boyfriends, but it wasn't too serious either. She knew she had the looks, so she didn't need boys running after her. For her it was rather annoying. She always behaved mature, had very good manners.

Tikal was a somewhat shy, but very beautiful echidna. Her parents died way too soon and she was depressed and on her own, until she met the girls. They helped her find a home and rebuild trust. She's also had a few relationships, but somehow guys liked to screw her over. She was a really sincere and honest individual, loyal and compassionate. She was also really sensitive.

Amy Rose was the leader of this squad. She was a sweet person with a great sense of humour. Many guys have liked her, but Amy remained single all this time, she's never had a relationship, nor has she ever made sexual experiences. She was someone who liked to wait for the right guy. She liked sweet and charming boys. She was a good friend, a compassionate girl who loved to spend time with her friends. Sadly she shared the same fate with Tikal, whose parents died too soon.

They entered school for the first time. Last night they had moved into their new apartments, Amy shared her room with Rouge again. Right across from them were Blaze and Tikal sharing a room.

As they came through the door all eyes landed on them. Rouge was enjoying all those hungry gazes, whilst the other girls were slightly annoyed.

Especially four dudes, all leaning against their lockers, checked the four new girls out.

Sonic the hedgehog, Shadow the hedgehog, Silver the hedgehog and Knuckles the echidna.

The four heartthrobs.

Knuckles was a funny dude, his friends enjoyed having him around. He wasn't be brightest candle on the cake, if you get what I mean, but he was still a loyal friend. He loved pranks and has had a few girls, but somehow he couldn't get the hang of it.. he didn't really know how to treat a lady.

Silver was an insecure hedgehog, but very sweet. He had many girls swooning over him, but he was too shy to make the first step. He was someone who admired girls from the distance. He was a loyal companion towards his friends, always had an open ear for their troubles.

Shadow was someone who had so so so many girls running after him, but he never showed interest. He wasn't into dating. His heart got broken once, after that he never had a relationship again. He wasn't someone to talk much, but he was still fun to be around. He was very introverted, but still self-confident.

Then there was Sonic, the leader. He was the school's biggest heartthrob, has tested nearly every girl at school. He wasn't into relationships at all, but he was into girls. He loved having women swoon over him. Knuckles was his closest buddy. Between him and Shadow the air was always a little thick, but they still managed to be good friends.

They all lived in the same apartment building the girls just moved in, what a coincidence. Sonic shared his room with Knuckles, Shadow and Silver shared the room right across from them.

Sonic was leaning against his locker with his usual swagger, his arms crossed, a smirk plastered on his muzzle.

Knuckles and Silver were leaning against the locker and chatting, Shadow beside them, his arms crossed, his eyes closed.

As the girls entered Sonic whistled loudly, everyone in the hallway heard him and stopped to stare at the girls. Silver raised an eyebrow, Knuckles grinned and Shadow didn't react, as usual.

Rouge winked at a few males, Blaze kept giving them death glares, Tikal stared shyly at the ground and Amy had a scowl all over her flawless face.

'Does anyone here need a picture?' she snapped loudly, making everyone turn around and concentrate on their own business again.

'Awww, you're ruining all the fun.' Rouge pouted, Blaze and Tikal giggled.

'That girl has attitude.' Sonic whispered to Silver, licking his lips. Silver nodded awkwardly.

'Uh.. seems like it.' he replied nervously, his eyes focused on the purple cat. He had never seen anyone like her before.

'They're all gorgeous.' Knuckles huffed. Shadow opened one eye at his remark, checked the four girls out and closed his eyes again.

'What do you guys think?' Knuckles asked excited.

'Don't care.' Shadow replied coldly.

'The pink one.' Sonic said, still staring at her eagerly.

'What? No way. Look at the bat, she has sex written all over her body.' Knuckles said cockily. Silver chuckled nervously.

'You think so? I'd go for the purple cat. Just look at her eyes.' Silver swooned, making all of the guys chuckle.

'The echidna is cute too.' Knuckles said.

'They're all pretty, I'd hit 'em all, but this hedgehog is feisty, I can literally smell it. That's just how I like 'em.' Sonic replied. Shadow rolled his eyes.

'You do realise that they're living individuals? You act like they are some kind of meat and you need to decide which one tastes the best. It's disgusting.' he huffed.

Sonic chuckled. 'Don't act like you care about their feelings.'

Shadow growled, then closed his eyes again.

The girls were still standing in the hallway, not sure where to go. Amy looked at her schedule.

'I think I have chemistry first. Blaze too. Tikal and Rouge have maths.'

'Oh, fun.' Rouge stated with a bored expression, Tikal giggled.

'C'mon, I'll help you.' she suggested sweetly.

'You better.' Rouge replied, making the whole group laugh shortly.

Rouge then turned her head towards the four boys that were standing across from them, obviously checking them out.

'Have you looked at 'em?' Rouge whispered to Tikal, who nodded eagerly and giggled. Blaze tilted her head a bit, observing all four. Then she turned away.

'They're all not my type.' she stated, Amy chuckled.

'Sure...' she replied sarcastically.

'What? They're all hella handsome!' Rouge whispered loudly. 'Just look at the muscular echidna.'

Amy turned her head slowly, she didn't want the boys to notice that she's checking them out. Her eyes wandered from the red echidna, whose eyes were glued to Rouge, over to the light gray hedgehog with yellow eyes, he was kinda cute, but not seriously her type. She then looked at the mysterious black hedgehog, he was undeniably attractive, even though Amy wasn't able to catch his eye colour due to his closed eyes. Then her eyes hit something so handsome that she had never seen before. A blue hedgehog with mesmerizing light green eyes, staring directly at her with a suggestive smirk. He was stunning, handsome, attractive.. everything a girl wanted. SNAP OUT OF IT!

She furiously shook her head and looked back at the girls, a slight blush creeping up on her muzzle.

'Okay, I guess they aren't the only boys here, so let's just get to class.' she hissed. Tikal nodded.

'Amy is right, it's not like these four are the backstreet boys or something, they're just students.' she said.

'Guess you haven't heard the rumours then.' Rouge chuckled.

'The blue one is Sonic the hedgehog, a hero. He gets all the girls. He saves the world multiple times each day, our red one there seems to be his best friend. The black hedgehog seems to be a darker form of Sonic, maybe something like a silent enemy.. whilst the gray one has futuristic powers.' she added.

'I've heard of Sonic, but never cared.' Blaze stated. Amy nodded.

'Yeah, guess I caught that name somewhere, but never knew that our heroes attend school like we do.' she giggled.

'Now Blaze, follow me. Tikal and Rouge, you have to go left. We will meet up in the cafeteria, I guess.' Amy said. All three girls nodded.

They split, Rouge and Tikal went down the left corridor, Rouge quickly winked at Knuckles before doing so. He froze.

Amy and Blaze went down the right corridor, completely ignoring the hungry stares from all males around, especially those four dudes. They chatted happily and were excited to meet the other students and especially the teachers.

Before they could walk any further, a blue blur appeared infront of them, making them both freeze.

Sonic stood infront of the two beautiful ladies and grinned.

'Heya, need someone to show you around?' he asked cockily, throwing a thumbs up at the two girls.

They looked at eachother, shrugged, and turned back to Sonic.

'Sorry, no interest.' Amy said coldly and walked past him. Blaze followed her. Sonic turned around in disbelief. How could anyone say no to him?

He clenched his fist and chuckled darkly.

'No one has ever gotten away from me. Just wait, Pinky, soon you'll be eating out of my hands.' he mumbled to himself.

Silver ran up to him and raised an eyebrow.

'Did you say something?' he asked concerned. Sonic gave him an innocent look.

'Oh no, just wanted to accompany the girls, but they weren't interested. It's no biggie, just wait.' he replied in a creepily nice way. Silver nodded with a confused frown.

'...I guess...' he spoke.

~.~

Amy and Blaze entered the classroom, everyone stopped talking and looked at them. The boys were mainly swooning, while the girls started whispering mean things to eachother. Amy rolled her eyes and sat down in the first row, Blaze took a seat beside her.

'Why does everyone always have to talk about 'the new ones'?' Amy asked annoyed. Blaze simply shrugged.

'It'll fade.'

Soon Silver entered the classroom and sat down beside Blaze. He didn't make eye contact, he was too shy. Blaze raised an eyebrow as he sat down, but didn't say a word.

'Guess he's cute.' Amy teased Blaze. Blaze rolled her eyes in annoyance.

'Oh, really? We can switch seats if you want to take a closer look.' Blaze huffed back. Amy frowned.

'Nah, I'll pass.'

Both chuckled.

The teacher came in and gave the whole class a stern look.

'Hello students, I am Mr. Mills. I will be your chemistry teacher this year. I hope you're all settled and ready to start. Let's check the presence and absence.' he spoke.

The whole class nodded.

'Silver T. Hedgehog.'

'Present.'

'Liz T. Zebra.'

'Present.'

'Mephisto T. Wolf.'

'Present.'

'Vector T. Crocodile.'

'Present.'

'Blaze T. Cat.'

'Present, Sir.'

'Very well. Amy Rose.'

'Also present.'

'Sonic T. Hedgehog.'

Silence.

'Sonic T. Hedgehog.' the teacher repeated annoyed.

'Guess the hero isn't here.' Amy replied cockily.

'Oh, the hero's always there.' someone said from the door. Sonic was leaning in the doorframe, a confident smirk on his muzzle. Amy rolled her eyes.

'And always late.' the teacher remarked.

'Sorry, boss.' Sonic teased as he sat down behind Amy.

The next minutes of the lesson went by peacefully. Until Amy heard someone behind her whisper 'psssssst' loudly.

She was kind of startled by that noise, but tried to ignore it. Then she heard it again, this time there was more force.

She turned around in annoyance and spotted Sonic, who was grinning sweetly at her.

'What?' she snapped. She tried to remain silent so she wouldn't catch the teacher's attention, but still loud enough for Sonic to hear.

He replied in the same volume.

'I didn't quite catch your name, gorgeous.' Sonic said with a wink. Amy groaned with annoyance and turned back around again. She then felt a tap on her shoulder from behind. She turned around again, glaring at Sonic.

'Don't fucking touch me, you creep.' she hissed. Sonic chuckled.

'Feisty. I love that.' he replied. Amy rolled her eyes and turned around again, trying to concentrate on what the teacher was saying.

Then he tapped her shoulder again, making her turn around angrily. She gritted her teeth.

'What kind of class is this?' he asked bored. Amy raised an eyebrow. Wasn't he paying attention at all?

'Chemistry.' she replied coldly. Sonic smirked.

'Ah, I see. That's why I feel chemistry between us.' he remarked, flashing a suggestive smile. Amy frowned in disgust.

'Eww.' she huffed and turned around again.

'Any troubles, Sonic?' the teacher asked sternly.

'No, no. You see, this isn't my thing. I have amazing and powerful qualities, which I save the world with daily. I don't need no education in chemistry, as long as I can provide guidance and run fast. I've saved you, your children and your wife multiple times, shortly after I failed my last test. It doesn't depend on being a good student. So I have no idea why I am attending this boring school in the first place, but I guess I have no choice. But still, I gotta run now, catch ya' later, Boss.' Sonic said and dashed off, leaving nothing but a breeze. All the guys were glaring, the girls were swooning. Amy rolled her eyes.

'This hedgehog has a point! But it's still no excuse to skip all my classes!' the teacher complained.

Blaze leaned over to Amy, her gaze straight forward.

'That was interesting, don't you think? He's a rebel.' Blaze whispered into Amy's ear. Amy cocked an eyebrow.

'Blaze? Interested in Sonic T. Hedgehog? That's juicy.' Amy teased. Blaze shook her head vigorously.

'Not at all, but I think he has a valid point there. I have futuristic abilities too, no education needed. I still want to be educated, but no one can force me to be here. I can just burn them all.' Blaze said and giggled at her last sentence. Amy rolled her eyes with a smile.

'Yeah and I can smash them with my Piko-Hammer.' she remarked. Both girls giggled.

Silver overheard their conversation, but didn't interfer. For him it was more than interesting that Blaze said something about futuristic powers. Oh, and to know her name in the first place. Blaze - what a fantastic name. He had to find out more about her. As she accidentaly looked his way, he turned his head in awkwardness. Hopefully mind-reading wasn't one of her futuristic powers.

~.~

Later at the cafeteria...

Amy and Blaze arrived first at the cafeteria. Normally school cafeterias look dull and boring, but this one was actually pretty cozy. Blaze and Amy sat down on a long wooden bench and started chatting.

'Have you ever seen such a wonderful cafeteria?' Amy asked, looking around.

'Not even in movies.' Blaze replied.

'I feel like I am some spoiled rich kid to attend this school.' Amy chuckled. Blaze nodded.

'I can relate.'

Just then Rouge and Tikal entered. Tikal had an annoyed look on her face and sat down on the bench across from Blaze and Amy. She sighed.

'What's wrong?' Amy asked concerned. Without any words, Tikal pointed in Rouge's direction, who was just entering the cafeteria with a guy. She walked over to her girls and grinned mischievously.

'Hello ladies, this is Rocco. Met him in maths. Do you mind if he sits with us?' she asked politely. Amy scratched her forehead in confusion, Blaze raised an eyebrow and Tikal facepalmed.

Infront of them stood an attractive white wolf with yellow eyes.

'Hey there.' he waved at the girls with a friendly smile.

'Uh.. hey.' Amy replied nervously.

'Where are my manners? I apologize for my stubborn friends and I also apologize for Rouge, if she's a little too forward. My name is Blaze and you can gladly take a seat.' she introduced herself politely, offering her hand. Rocco raised an eyebrow and shook her hand.

'Thanks, I guess.' he replied. He sat down beside Tikal, Rouge sat down next to him, giving Blaze a glare, but she ignored it.

'I'm Amy.' she said coldly, not even looking at Rocco.

'Tikal.' she raised her hand shortly with an annoyed look, her head resting on her fists, her elbows resting on the wooden table.

'Nice to meet you, girls.' he said with a goofy grin.

'So Rocco, any plans for the weekend?' Rouge asked with a suggestive grin. He chuckled nervously.

'Uh.. not yet.' he replied. 'But there'll be a party to welcome the newcomers. It takes place at the beach. Guess I'll go there. Wanna come?'

Rouge nodded. 'Sure.'

She then looked at the other girls, but none of them reacted. So Rouge cleared her throat loudly to catch their attention.

'I said sure.' she repeated sternly.

'Oh.. yeah.. sure.' Amy said. Tikal nodded.

'I'm sure it'll be fun. Thanks for the invitation.' Blaze said sweetly.

~.~

Four guys entered the cafeteria, making nearly everyone look at them.

Sonic, Shadow, Silver and Knuckles.

Sonic looked around and spotted the four girls sitting in the middle of the cafeteria with... what? With Rocco? His blood started boiling, but he had to keep his cool. So he went to the place infront of their place and sat down, so he could stare at Amy and she'd notice him. Knuckles sat down beside him, Shadow and Silver sat down across from them, slightly blocking Sonic's view.

'Mr. Mills wasn't pleased that you skipped his class again.' Silver remarked, looking at Sonic.

'Whatever.' Sonic replied, rolling his eyes. Then he noticed that Knuckles was breathing heavily.

'Knux, what's up?' he asked mockingly.

'What's she doing with Rocco? Why does he always gets the girls first?' he growled, clenching his fists. Sonic chuckled.

'Well, you always have to take his trash out. Besides, he just gets the girls before you do, but never got a girl before I did.' he said sassily.

Knuckles groaned in annoyance.

'That's just because you're so damn obtrusive towards those girls, you don't leave them alone until they have no choice.' Knuckles said. Sonic frowned.

'You act like I am raping them or something, they follow me into my bedroom on their free will.' Sonic remarked.

'Whatever, dude.' Knuckles said, concentrating on Rouge.

Silver turned to Shadow, a puzzled look all across his face. Shadow crossed his arms and rolled his eyes.

'I know that look, Silver. Drop it.' he said coldly.

'I need your help. I really took a special interest in that lilac cat, she's hypnotizing. She mentioned something about futuristic abilities, what if she's from the same universe as me? Maybe that is the reason why I am so attracted to her. I found out her name's Blaze and she seems like a wonderful creature, I don't want to sit around and just stare at her like I did with all the other girls, if I don't make a move she'll soon be off limits.. I mean, just look at her, she's gorgeous!' he explained nervously. Shadow groaned in annoyance.

'Then why don't you stand up and ask her out instead of annoying the crap out of me?' Shadow ranted loudly, silencing the whole cafeteria. Everyone turned around and stared at them.

Silver became really nervous, his gaze shortly meeting Blaze's.. she looked at him as if he was a creep.

Silver drooped his ears and stood up, slowly walking out of the cafeteria, he was highly embarassed. He slammed the door behind him and walked into the school's garden, sitting down on a swing with a sad look on his face.

~.~

'What was that?' Sonic asked, an eyebrow raised in concern. Shadow just growled.

'That wasn't cool, man.' Knuckles remarked. Shadow rolled his eyes.

'This coward always asks for my advice but never does anything I tell him. I am not his mother, nor his therapist.' Shadow stated emotionless.

'Why do you always have to act like the tough guy?' Knuckles huffed. Shadow crossed his arms and chuckled.

''Cause I am.' he replied mischievously.

~.~

Amy watched Silver leave with drooped ears and wet eyes. She immediately felt sorry for the white hedgehog, he looked like he needed a hug or a friend to talk to. She knew that feeling, she got bullied in school before she met Rouge. All she ever wished for in that kind of situations was someone she could talk to, someone who'd understand her emotions. She decided to follow the hedgehog.

'I need to use the toilet, I'll be right back.' Amy said, her group nodded.

Blaze watched Amy leave the cafeteria, a concerned look on her face.

~.~

Amy entered the empty hallway and looked around, but Silver was nowhere to be found. She decided to check the library first, it was a quiet place to think. As she walked down there, she felt a strong breeze going past her, making her freeze.

A few seconds afterwards she was being pushed against one of the lockers. She let out a small scream, but somebody's hand was covering her mouth. She looked up and stared directly into the most beautiful eyes she had ever seen. They were powerful, mysterious and mesmerizing.

The person then took his hand off of Amy's mouth and chuckled.

'Shh, don't want anyone to hear us.' he said calmly.

Amy was still frozen in her tracks, what kind of situation was this? She was pushed against one of these lockers, now this incredibly hot guy was standing infront of her, one of his hands resting on the locker behind her head, leaving her only little space to move. A confident grin plastered on his perfect muzzle, staring directly into her eyes. She felt like she was in some kind of dream, but she had to snap out of it.

'What do you want?' she hissed.

'Now, now. Hasn't anyone taught you manners, young lady?' Sonic said cheepishly. Amy rolled her eyes.

'Look, I got no time for this bullshit. Let me go.' she ranted, frowning.

'Only if you tell me your name, gorgeous.' he said with a suggestive grin.

'Ugh, fine. It's Amy. Can you let me go now?' she asked annoyed. Sonic chuckled.

'Very well, Amy. A beautiful name for a beautiful girl. Just in case you didn't know, I am Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog. Fastest thing on the planet.. in and out of bed.' he whispered, winking at her. She cringed with disgust.

'Creep. What do you want?'

'Your attention, babe.'

'Look, I have three beautiful best friends. Why don't you go hit on them? They might go out with you. Leave me alone.' she hissed. Now Sonic rested his other hand also on the locker behind Amy, leaving her no space to move at all, he grinned. Amy swallowed nervously.

'You're just... more like my taste. They're easy targets. But you.. you have something.. so intriguing. I like it.' he replied with a smirk. For a moment Amy blushed, she could literally feel his breath against her skin, it sent shivers down her spine. This hedgehog was so magical and handsome.. but she knew he was bad news and she wanted someone by her side that was loyal and calm, someone she could plan a future with. And that obviously wasn't Sonic the Hedgehog.

'Get out of my way now.' she snapped, pushing Sonic to the side. Sonic chuckled, but let her go.

'I would be really glad if you'd join us at the beach this weekend. I wanna get to know you. Psychologically... and physically.' he said with a wink, giving her a seductive grin. She cringed again, he was just too forward, it was disturbing, something Amy wasn't used to.

'Disgusting. So long, hedgehog.' she huffed, waving shortly at him. Then she left in a rush.

Sonic watched her hips swaying in perfect harmony as she left. Then his eyes trailed a little lower, towards her butt. It had the perfect shape. He licked his lips and grinned.

'Soon, Amy. Soon you'll be screaming my name.. but not out of force.. out of pleasure, believe me.' he mumbled under his breath, then walked back into the cafeteria.

Hey!

Managed to start my second story and yeah.. it's a typical high school story.

What do you think? Review!

In the first chapters there won't be a lot of fluff.

But you'll get what's good in later chapters.
