The room is dark, ghosts of a past only I remember dance along the wall beside my shadow.
There is no music, my feet and robes barely dent the aching silence.
I am the last. One by one, they were taken through some tragic event or grief until it was me.
I was left behind, but only ten years ago with his arrival did I know why.
Someone has to be here for him. What is a god without a follower? A god that no one believes in is poweless.
I will believe in him. He is all I have.
