Cycles of death

The Chosen Undead was in a pinch. Now it wasn't like he was in any particular danger, in fact all things considered he was pretty much in the safest place in the world right now. Which is sort of strange considering there was a hulking beast right past the doors next to him. Now that would have been fine if wasn't in the way of him and the next set of doors, but it was, so it isn't. Of course he already tried to find a way around it, but the only other door was locked so it seemed like he had to fight it.

The chosen undead looked at his weapon, a sword hilt with only a little bit of blade remaining, the rest seemingly shaved cleanly off. It wasn't much but it clearly should be better than his fists, after all there was a phrase, don't bring your fists… to.. a knife fight? Maybe there wasn't a phrase but a cutting weapon should be better than his hands

Standing before the large doors he took a deep breath, gathering his wits he walked inside.

At that moment, the demon jumped from the roof. Seeing that, the chosen undead rushed to the side, dodging a blow from it's enormous hammer, and quickly made his way to the beasts behind, its blind spot.

Swinging at the beast, making sure to stay out of it's range, the chosen moved back and forth, never letting his attention waver. He stopped only when the asylum's beast started flying away. He let out a sigh.

Only to let out the rest of his air as the Behemoth crushed him under his body.

You Died

Here we go, my first fanfic (on this site at least) I don't even know if it's rating appropriate but I think the text is mild enough. Sort of weird I made a story for everyone in one of the more depressing games around (you know, baring horror games) but hey, you, watcha gonna do.

I guess the idea is a complete game newbie's playthrough of dark souls but i don't plan on doing anything much with this fic, if you want me to continue just ask. In that same vein, tell me about your repeated deaths in any particular part of the game, I might write about it.

Leave a review if you want. Til next time.
