That morning, Coral woke up the the sound of a pair of loudly gossiping crabs. She tried to fall back asleep next to her son, but was quickly jolted awake when she heard a familiar name.

Marlin

That was her son's name but also her late husband's name. She decided to listen in on the crabs'conversation to see if she could get more information. That was when she heard a second name, a name she hadn't heard or thought about for six years.

Nemo.

It couldn't be a coincidence. To hear the name of her husband and the name of the song that she was denied by the barracuda in the same sentence.

Coral knew it was fate so she woke up the one child that she she saved from the barracuda, her beloved Marlin Jr.

"I don't wanna go to school today mom," the young clownfish groaned upon being awoken.

"Good," Coral said enthusiastically, "because that's not where we're going!"

"Then where are we going?" the child asked in confusion.

"Just get up, I'll tell you in a second," she answered as she sped out of the anemone towards the crabs, leaving her child to groggily get up.

AN: As promised my very supportive followers, I have written an actual story for this. Sorry it took so long, I was camping for two weeks and I didn't have my phone on me. But it's here now. I hope you enjoyed it. I honestly don't have much of a clue where I'm going with this. I do however have a few ideas scattered around my brain for it.

Also what I did for Marlin Jr., I have this theory that Marlin and Coral put each other's needs before their own and both named their children after what each other wanted. If that makes any sense. Also I probably will refer to Marlin Jr. as MJ from now on.

Ciao for now,
