I Never Should Have Let Them Dance.
Hi! So I'm not really so fond of the Lazel ship, but I wrote this for a very Awesome friend of mine, Some-Awesome-Person, who is mad about them!
So to all you Lazel shippers and Some-Awesome-Person, enjoy this short one-shot!
Frank, Hazel and Leo were on the deck of the Argo II. Leo was telling Hazel how easy it was to dance.
"C'mon Haze! It's not that difficult!" Leo said dancing with his imaginary partner.
"I still can't do it." Hazel said folding her arms in that cute way she did when she was frustrated.
"Frank, get your butt over here! It's time little Hazy learned how to dance!" Leo said pushing Frank towards Hazel.
"No, dude. I'm a clutz, I can't dance to save my life! I'll get the music and you do the teaching." Frank said thinking it might be a great way to help Hazel.
"Fine." Leo said dramatically waving his hands in the air.
"COACH!" Frank yelled and in less than a split second the coach was on the deck waving his club like a goatiac (maniac) swinging his club screaming "DIE!"
"Calm down coach!" Frank said gesturing for him to stop.
"What's wrong! I heard the Ninja Signal!" Coach said glancing everywhere, holding his club at the ready.
"No, Coach. I need you to play us some music." Frank said and the coach grinned and pulled out his reed pipes.
"Kay, guys! I got music." Frank said and Leo and Hazel took their positions.
"One, two, three. One, two, three. No, Hazel. Let me lead." Leo said as they started dancing.
"Coach, where's the music?" Frank asked and Coach Hedge quickly straightened and put his pipes to his lips, a soft, beautiful, disney-like tune came from his pipes. Frank watched sadly as Hazel seemed to get lost in Leo's eyes.
"Er- that's a really beautiful dress." Leo said.
"Thanks." Hazel replied.
"You should wear it sometime." Leo said his gaze never leaving Hazel's eyes.
"I am wearing it." She said just as hypnotised as him.
"Sorry, I was just trying to give you a..."
"Compliment?"
"Yeah."
"It's one, two three and suddenly
I see it at a glance,"
Frank started singing, the words pooping into his head as he sang.
"She's radiant and confidant and born to take this chance,"
He loved her with all his heart and he believed in her more than anyhting.
"I taught her well, I planned it all,
I just forgot romance."
He had known from the beginning, he would make sure she survived and was always happy, now that she had her second chance at life. Though, he forgot. That he wasn't the only one that could love Hazel Levesque.
"Frank how could you do this,
How will you get through this?"
His heart was already breaking as he saw him spin her in a circle and he knew it was a lost case.
"I never should have let them dance."
He ended his song as they leaned in, but Leo caught himself and quickly patted her hand,"You did great," He said turning around."I think I'm gonna go hit the hay!" He walked off to his cabin and Frank looked broken-hearted as Hazel watched him go with longing.
